We need a mod to fix what's wrong with Boone. Do you write mods? Can you make this one? :)

They should probably look at the trait mods, NEW companion mods, enhancement of game balance mods and other smaller mods like the one that makes it so you can refill bottles with water and stuff.

I'd like to see a Legion revamp. Lore be damned, I have more fun fighting (and looting!) well equipped high-tech opponents.

I'd like to see the motorcycle mod from FO3 ported over and perfected.

Most people don't seem to share your opinion, its the most popular FNV power armor overhaul at the moment.

Unfortunately, the mod I would like to see is blatantly impossible to make:

The Crowbar Mod. Allows a player to crowbar open, and enter, any building which is boarded up.

Damn, when I saw crowbar mod the first thing that popped into my head was Gordon Freeman. The exactly inner dialogue was "the courier reskinned as Gordan Freeman? Yes A THOUSAND TIMES YES"

Now I'm a little bummed out.

nice one, im on the PS3. I don't use mods to make my character look like a barbie doll and have ridiculous hair. Not to mention all the paedophile mods. The legion could not wear power armour, they rely on agility and swiftness. If you cant break-dance in it, you cant fight in it, as a gladiator.

Yes, for melee weapons and explosives, and some more for energy weapons. Would a couple of new custom weapons hurt? Railway Rifle etc were fun.

Also, I was really disappointed with the 10mm Pistol Laser Sight. It doesn't actually provide an aiming dot... would have been cool.

Just thought of a cool mod for the Shishkebab.... throw flames when you slash, making you able to attack from range with it :D

PPA doesn't give power armour to the Legion does it? I'd assumed that image was done through reverse pick-pocketing or some other trick.

edit: Too bad the mods moved this before we heard whether the OP meant mods or mods.

.....we need some new words for some of these things.

Yes, it does. Probably my only gripe with it, the composite PA is... Jarring when compared to the rest of the Legion aesthetic.

Oh. Glad I haven't used it yet then. A guy in composite power armour sharpening a machete Gladius is too weird for me.

I actually added Composite T-45d to the Legion Prime and Veteran leveled lists, put the schematics for it in Caesar's tent, and had that Legion-friendly merchant with the mustache be the major source of composite repair kits, sort of an implied sub-plot - that merchant or one of his contacts sold Caesar the schematics so that he'd have a market for the components. I thought the armor would look cool alongside some of the Legion helmets, plus its role as the low weight, stealthy, maneuverable form of power armor seemed to fit the Legion's combat tactics. It only has about a one in five chance of spawning so it doesn't have too major of an impact, but the Legion definitely needed some better equipment. Aside from assaulting Legate's camp (and maybe fighting Lupa with nothing but a machete), there's nothing in the Legion that compares to going up against NCR rangers.

A mod that I would like to see in NV is Povuholo's npc's response mod, :) by Povuholu of course

And a dress code for casino's, as in no heavily armored/fieldhand wear. You know like black tie, no bare feet.

Or they think like I do. I really like that mod, but I don't particularly like how he handled composite T-45d suits. Still, I use it anyway because the other features are enough for me to overlook that issue. :P

Quest mods, quest mods, quest mods.

Nobody ever makes quest mods, and NV has so few quests I want to cry. Like 50% of them have to do with the main story, and the rest take like 5 minutes to do...

Agreed. New Vegas Bounties is awesome. I'd buy a New Vegas DLC that did nothing but add more Mojave area quests, even if it didn't add free play after main quest like Broken Steel, or new world spaces like the other FO3 DLC.

Erm not really, but to run with this point I shall list the number of side quests for each game

FO3
17 marked
FONV
79 marked

You know what I'd like to see more than anything? Faction traders. What I mean by that is, each major faction has a trader, kind of like how the brotherhood has one. So ncr and legion would have a trader. This trader will sell equipment for their faction, based on either the pc's level or his/her reputation with said faction. For example I doubt ncr would let you buy veteran ranger armor if you hadn't worked your ass off for them. Its just so disappointing seeing these cool armors, only to know that due to a lack of any real quest rewards, you never get to wear any of them without killing a member of that faction you want the armor from.

I'd like to see quest mods too. That was one of the things that I was always curious about with regard to Fallout 3 mods ... the relative lack of quests. I expected there to be tons of them. Modders created a huge number of very large, intricate quests of professional quality for Oblivion. The Fallout games and the G.E.C.K. are pretty much identical mechanically to Oblivion and it's construction set, so I thought there would be an army of modders ready to step in and start world building in the Wastelands. And they were there, but it's mostly been overhauls and new creatures and items.

Were quests harder to build for Fallout? NPCs easier to script in Oblivion? Or was a large fantasy world just easier to write for?

Yes, I want quests.

The Crowbar Mod. Allows a player to crowbar open, and enter, any building which is boarded up.

That was my idea for CevSteel's NV Interiors. He suggested using one of the static pick axes, turning it into a useable, pick-uppable object.
I don't know if there are actual crowbars in the game.

Edit: Spelling
