All the Pokemon Trainers are annoying.

Heh, I've only played the originals (and the FireRed remake), but I actually didn't mind the trainers so much as trying to catch the unique Pokemon.

"Damn it Zapdos, you're at barely a sliver of health and you're asleep, paralyzed, and have most of your stats lowered as low as they'll go. STAY. IN. THE. [censored]. BALL."

*tosses 15th ball"

Game: "Aww, it appeared to be caught!"

Me: "FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF"

You could just pay three ten year olds ten bucks to trade for them and you'd have all three... never mind that sounds completly moronic.

but maybe I can catch all three and trade them to three ten year olds for ten bucks and go buy the next pokemon game! ...

actually the rare ones were not the worst, you knew at least where they were and the difficulty was simply the slim percentage chance that a poke ball would catch them. in ruby and saphire there was some ugly fish that only appeared in four spaces 25% of the time which were different places for each individual game and the only way you could possibly find that out was by looking it up online.

Legit? You mean using a car? It's a helluva lot easier with two players so one can drive while the other shoots. I've soloed him standing still, but I got really lucky and he flipped his car.

My most hated enemy: Lag.

Yeah, staying inside that arena of his, and riding around in my racer, locking onto whatever target I can and PRAYING the whole freaking time. I can take him out easy by getting killed once, then running up to the ramp but not entering the arena, and just shooting him, using the ramp as a shield, but once inside the arena... it isn't pretty.

As a big fan of racing games in my youth I'd say TIME TRIALS. Some were just too damn hard to finish in the gold times, I had to race perfectly just to get the silver.

Also, if any of you have played Crash Team Racing on the PS1, I found the first duel with Ripper Roo to be INCREDIBLY annoying. His kart seemed to have unlimited top speed and very good handling to boot, not to mention he laid TNT crates along the track whenever you were behind him which were often hard to avoid :swear:

The Elder Scrolls series has some of my least favourite enemies ever; Clanfaers in Oblivion are awful to fight up close, staggering you even if your agility is 90+. In Morrowind, it was more those random bandits you found in some caves. At low levels you could breeze through the bulk of them, but the main guy always seemed to kill me in two strikes of his sword.
