Most underused armor?

Post » Fri Jun 15, 2012 5:34 am

My last run I used Penitus Oculatus armor

PO armor is my default on archers/light weight characters. It's my favorite armor in the game.

well i've never seen anyone wear deadric. I think the wolf armor from the companions should have been given to everyone in teh circle atleast.
I wish that they had given the worl armor to everyone in the circle to. plus it is my faverite armor in the game.

I can't tell who's being sarcastic in this thread. Daedric and Nightingale are prolly the two most popular sets for players, taking into consideration both aesthetics and stats. Least popular...hmm...tempted to say Dragon. Takes an extra perk AND is slightly weaker than Daedric.

Elven Armors because they look so stupid, also F the Thalmor.
At least that set doesn't look as stupid as it did in Oblivion. Especially those goofy looking "dragon foot" boots they had in Oblivion. They looked absolutely ridiculous! The Dwemer boots in Skyrim aren't much better. They also look absolutely ridiculous. And I have no idea at all as to why the Falmer boots are actually called boots at all.

At first I thought it looked cool, but then no, just no. The loading screen elf wearing it while wielding the daedric sword just looks like a tool.

Dragonplate and Dragonscale sets... Its impossible (without mods) for NPCs (or the player) to acquire them without the Forge
Wrong. I've found pieces of Dragonplate. I found a shield at Gjukar's Monument specifically.

I'd say all ugly armors/armor pieces, especially the ugly helmets (leather, scaled) and rightly so.

There are too many players out there wearing ugly daedric armor thinking their 1000+ armor rating would grant them any more advantage compared to armor sets hitting the 567 armor cap.

Elven armor looks great, and the Thamor are kind of cool.

On Topic: I think Falmer armor is the least worn.

I so hope no one use Thalmor armor

Too [censored] bad. My older Mage characters wore Thalmor armor all the time. Especially the gloves, and boots.

All helmets ...
But otherwise, I'd say Orcish. I don't think any of my characters have even touched Orcish!

With my vamp mage I just aquired the Falmer set for Mjoll. Looks wicked on her :) on my main toon I use full daedric since he is a demon/daedra master and so happened to conjure up his armor below the College ;)

Least used might be uhmm low grade leather and iron on players and ebony and stuff on npcs.

I do? When we didn't know anything about Skyrim, I was excited about the prospect of joining the Legion because I wanted to be a guard.

I'm gonna say Worn Shrouded Armor. Right off the bat they give you better armor anyway, and they look the same.

I think that was by design. The dwemer tend to build things for practical purposes first then add in ornate detail.

Glass - I put it on once and couldn't believe how ugly it is, on the flip side the glass weapons look great but damn the armour is some awful looking equipment. Dwarven, orchish and dragonbone are awful too for me.

I have only ever found an npc wearing ancient nord armour once. This wasn't in the ancient nord ruin where everyone is wearing it. It was worn by a bandit.

Elven.

Also dwarven armour is quite hard to find.

And skyrim doesn't have Mithril,Chitin, bonemould, Addamantium or Glass

First armor i always take(after getting out of Helgen) is to obtain a whiterun Guard armor set
But most underused? I say the guards' uniform, especially the ones like dawnstar
