Nazeem the dike

Post » Mon Jun 11, 2012 11:30 pm

lol

On one playthrough I killed him in broad daylight, paid the fine, put his corpse on the well so that everyone would see it. It was great, but it doesn't stop there.

His wife sent HIRED THUGS on me! It was awesome. I killed the thugs, took the contract, went straight to Whiterun, the wife happened to be coming into the market area, I killed her right there in broad daylight, paid the fine, and left the contract on her dead body to send a message to the other townfolks.

Its funny that in skyrim you can murder someone and just pay a fine.

The man has absolutely no purpose but to throw insults around, yet his wife has unique dialogue acknowledging if he's dead. It's almost like the devs expected you to brutally murder him.

Also, three words: Iiz Slen Nus.

If my character didn't have such a high tolerance for jerks and bigots, Nazeem would probably be dead.

Is it wrong to use use paralysis poisons/spells and to torture him with low level sparks and then heal him with healing spells?

because that's what i might do here soon

I know exactly what you mean. He can insult me to the end of time, and I'll still know inside that I am better than he is (not to mention more wealthy), but if he says one nasty word to Ysolda, I display his head in Camilla's tomato cart.
It's too bad his dialogue doesn't change according to one's financial status, because then he might be more respectful after realizing just how high our standing is compared to his.

He deserved it.

That's how you send a message.

I'm puzzled, though. I thought for sure his wife wished him dead. Skyrim fail?

I shot him in the throat from....

The Cloud District, as he was coming up the stairs toward it. I was like "Oh you almost visited the cloud district, but now I guess you won't visit often!"

That's what I thought too but I guess the hired thugs things is scripted to trigger when you steal from or kill NPCs. It was really funny when it happened though. For once I actually had consequences for a previous action.

I snuck into his bed and put some bottles of virulent poison. He is still in that bed of his, along with his wife. The guards never found their dead bodies...

But they don't sleep together. He stays at the Drunken Huntsman.

Oh, and I climbed up on the roof of the Battle-Born's and sniped him as he came around on his route. One shot, one kill. I think Maven's crony, the old woman from the stables, was the first to find him.

I actually find him a rather tragic character. His wife claims he's buttering up to the jarl, but I've never seen him at Dragonsreach. As already mentioned he spends most of his time at The Drunken Huntsman. I get the vibe of someone desperately trying to uphold a facade (even to his wife). Not a worthy kill, imo.

I placed a frenzy potion in his inventory then ran him through with an ebony blade. Then I paraded him around Whiterun for all to see. I placed his body at the feet of his wife.

He does have a key to the farm, but yes, he basically lives in a **** hole. Have you seen the room? Sad.

Also, he has a key to a mansion that doesn't even exist. He's a fraud.

I waited until he was asleep with his wife in their Drunken Hunstman room, then transformed into a werewolf (So I wouldn't get a fine,) and killed both of them. The shopkeeper started attacking me, and I just plowed him over. I then ran through the gates, knocking over an Alik'r in the process, and fled the city. I later came back to find that both the shopkeeper and the Alik'r were dead from me running them over while sprinting in werewolf.

It was totally worth it.

Then he comes back as a ghost to haunt you and the Cloud District until the end of time. Oh the irony!

Arinbjorn (my char) doesn't find that guy annoying, but simply terribly ignorant. He is a noble from Solstheim, son of the King himself (yes, in my own version of the TES lore, Solstheim/Lokken is a kingdom), and his family owns two castles there, and have more money that he and his petty farm would even dream to have.

He finds the mad prophet much more annoying. And that having in mind he's a Stormcloak himself.

I was really glad that the Companions had both my characters punch his lights out in their radiant AI quests. Maybe I'll just hide somewhere and frenzy him for great hilarity on my illus/archer one day.

Every time I take a trip to Whiterun, I pickpocket Nazeem's valuables and then proceed to beat him to within an inch of his life. Sooner or later he is going to have to sell his farm and purchase Breezehome (with no interior decorations) due to the cost to keep himself so healthy every time I see him. The guards don't even care since the whole city is in the Theive's Guild's pocket.

Then when he is at his lowest, begging for septims in the streets, I will give him the key to his farm and riches beyond anything he could've dreamed of.

...Then I'm going poison him to death.
