NCRCF (Spoilers)

Post » Sun Mar 06, 2011 10:30 am

You are talking about a well known bug that has not yet been fixed. Yes, I get that ...

What I have provided is a possible solution to use so the events in your game-play can match the bugged ending out-come without you having to loose NCR rep in the process. If you don't like this, then don't use it. However until the bugged ending gets fixed there is nothing else to do about it ..

That's all and good but this was more on topic for news about a fix which what you explained isn't one. It's like me saying just kill Eddie without helping the NCR or just ignore the NCRCF all together so that one of the other ending match which wouldn't be a solution to the problem. So like I said it was nice to add your explanation on how to help the Powder Gangers without getting bad rep by the NCR but again it's not something I was looking for but I'm sure someone will enjoy it though and for that I thank you.

Bump - Any word on a Patch? Kind of irritates me that the patches take forever to come out for this game.

I have the latest patch and I don't know, basically. I have finished the game but got the right ending with the NCRCF.
Latest is 1.13 and to my knowledge is currently only released to select regions, for PS3 (maybe for xbox as well?)

It didn't tell me what it did either, which kinda svcks and google is about as useful as a rock for this one.

I had massive problems early on, after downloading the patch it froze regularly, glitches occurred, quests would spontaneously fail, sound would cut out etc. Stopped a couple of days ago, either from the most covert patch ever or for no real reason. Now it works just fine. It did, however, work just fine for me before, so I don't know if the patch is going to do much, sorry!

Have you only played through the game once? The last patch fixed this ending. Try it again. ;) It used to piss me off as well because I would never get the right ending with the powder gangers but now I do. Of course I've played it through many, many times and have gotten many endings to verify, if you're unsure about a game, and you know it's been patched a few times, go ahead and try it for yourself. Can't hurt. :fallout:

Well I was holding off on playing the game again (played it twice already) because I wanted to make a final completest playthrough. I didn't want to get all the way to the ending only to find ou they didn't fix it. So I was just trying to get some reinsurance that it was indeed fixed so I could start my game up again. So thanks for telling me it was fixed hopefully you aren't mistaken as it still hasn't been updated in the patch notes or taken off the quests wiki page, but something that small could have gone un noticed I'm sure. I guess I'll be fining out for myself though. Thanks again.

I was told that after you help Good Springs, you can still do the Powder Ganger quests by disguising as one of them?

Yeah, no. That doesn't work. I've tried it. Six times actually. Until I got so frustrated that I went in there with NCR faction armor and leveled the place. I didn't even loot it that's how angry I was. I just left the bodies and walked out. Then, when I was done with that I went to every place I knew had PGs and wiped them all out too.

wasn't the reward for this quest a constant supply of stuff that you need to craft Explosives ammo at workbenches? Or was that another PG quest?

Radio Broadcast is still messed up :banghead: gonna finish the game though and see if the ending is fixed. Still angry that the Grimy Pre-War Business Suit hasn't been fixed seems like it would have been a long time ago.

Actually yes this whole quest chain has been messed up sense release and I'll keep posting in it until it's fixed which I'd hope would be soon but I doubt it ever will. Was your comment necessary? <_<
