My personal kill time list, when not at work or hanging with friends/girlfriend:

Play Demon's Souls
Play Minecraft
Play Deus Ex: Human Revolution
Watch Netflix (Breaking Bad and Merlin currently)

I'd recommend reading or doing something constructive, but then I'd feel like a hypocrite.

What would you normally do if Skyrim wasn't coming out in 11 days?
Just do that, and act like it isn't coming. Time flies if you just keep yourself busy and don't look at the clock/calender all the time.

Eat bacon, lots and lots of bacon, you'll still be bored but at least you have delicious bacon to keep you company, everything is better with bacon....

Edit: Me, I'm cleaning, doing laundry, cooking and so on, everything I won't want to do after 11.11.11.

Edit 2: DON'T have a beer with friends, you'll want to distance yourself from your friends so that they don't bother you once Skyrim is out. Insult your friends so that they wont be your friends any longer, if you insult them enough they may even knock you unconscious for a week or so, problem solved...

- Prepare a strategy to get as much time in front of the large living room TV from your wife/husband/kids/other competing partys
- Start a post on platform choice, dual wielding, werewolves or any other topic that promises lively discussions and try to get as many posts as possible before thread is being closed
- start a new, relaxing pastime - I prefer archery as a means to get a clear head :)

Well for me I've been playing BF3 and tomorrow i'll be getting Uncharted 3. I'll also be getting MW3 and all of those will keep me busy until Skyrim which will be the only game I play for a long time afterwards.
