New Blood, Skyrim influx

Post » Wed Sep 21, 2011 2:27 pm

hey, i joined here when i figured out about new vegas. i do have to admit though, some of us were idiots.

I didn't like when New Vegas was released. I seemed to be the only one who really loved the game. Everyone else just [censored]ed about invisible walls and superhard enemies, and Obsidian was forced to keep going back and nerfing things.

Nowp i don't fell like that in anyway.

Not sure if I should "icwhatudidthar.jpg" or not.

I agree with you Tamriel Terror, it is always nice to see the new members who have taken the time to have a look around the forum and read the rules first and make an honest effort to contribute. There are certainly those among the Skyrim forum and I love the topics where there's a good discussion going on, but then they just feel overshadowed by the "other stuff".

I am glad there are older members like myself that are on the same page though, not that I doubted that there were, but still.

There's always a surge of new members when a new game is announced/released, and not just on Bethesda's forums.

Yeah. Everyone who joined before '06 is new blood in my book.

I don't go on the Skyrim forums, but I can instantly tell when a thread has been moved from Skyrim to CD. Not because of the different members, but because of the vicious assault on my IQ.

um, quite. :P

You can always tell what sort of day it will be in the Skyrim forum, if the topic says things like:

"X FEATURE CONFIRMED!"

or on the other hand:

"PETE CONFIRMS NO X IN SKYRIM"

where X is something I'd want in. <_<

How many moderator does it take to change a light bulb?

a. None, they don't use light bulb
b. One. Todd Howard does it himself.
c. Two. One to declare forums rules, the other locks the light bulb.

Haven't been on the Skyrim forum for awhile.. While I am keeping abriast of Skyrim news, I prefer to find it, and mull over it in my own time, rather than run in circles trying to filter out the genuine info from the hypothetical ideas and "myths" that are rampantly perpetuated there. That, and about two minutes of leet and bad grammar gives me a migraine. And yeah, the new blood is just that. Those that are genuinely here for the game will continue to be here, and be productive, and those that aren't will gradually filter themselves out. Idiots can only amuse themselves so much.

I too joined soon after Skyrim was announced, bbut then the community went to poop around the same time controversial info was posted. Now I almost never go there as it is full of people who complain.
