It's a cool article, but not a surprise. They've been talking about this being a strong possibility for a long time and the genetic variability that grew in our species in such a short time was always cited as a piece of evidence, so... :shrug:

Anyway, the Out of Africa theory is officially garbage, now.

Neanderthals also were not barbaric idiots, as is customary to believe (not by .FallOut3.,). That stereotype demands that people who believe it should be pelted with history and science books. :hehe:

I once watched a movie that was an hour and a half long discussion between people and a guy who was proving he was infact an immortal Neanderthal, and it was filled with basically forum-like responses as to how Neanderthals probably had the same level of intelligence as humans did.
