Thats a fun one. It's got a pretty long side quest. Don't want to spoil it for you, but let me know if there is a specific person there that you would like to boil from the inside out. I think you're ment to hate him (and his counterparts) but just curious if there are any other people who feel the same way i do.

I thought you could talk to them the first time I encountered one, did any one else do this?

Wait a few levels! I managed to kill two in one camp at about level 8 in my first game, but i found a rock to snipe off that they counldn't climb or get around. It took ages, and more than one I saw Lydia go flying past after one of them hit her. Nowadays I keep the hell away from them until level 25 or more. My current 2H level 41 character can take them down in two hits, and my level 52 stealth Bosmer can one-shot them if she's not detected.

Shoot them with stuff. From afar.


Increase your armour rating. Any way you can.


Attack at higher levels.

Some giants attack, others you can walk right up to them. I don't know about talking as I've never had a desire to hold a conversation with a giant.

It happens to me from time to time, because I hunt them for their lucrative toe meats.

Every time it happens all I can think of is, "Team Rocket is blasting off again!"

I'm pretty sure once you get higher in level they can't do it anymore. Not sure what point is but I'll guess it's between lvl 25-30. That's when I noticed that I could whoop them and not get knocked into orbit.
