@ Cyric:
Your first paragraph. You complain about the people who have been venting here, that's what makes your post hypocritical. They are venting about issues that directly impact on their gameplay. You are venting because you don't like their venting, and you state that they are overrating their issues. At least their venting has a point, your's is simply complaining for the sake of disagreement.
Edit: Please don't think I'm entering into a flame war here, but you did request clarification on my statement.
Fair enough, I suppose I can see how it may have come off in that manner. My little rant was more directed at people who are throwing these massive tantrums over a
videogame, bashing Obsidian/Bethesda, and acting like it's the end of the world because there was no patch to fix the whole game in a week. As for people who are just complaining about issues, I don't honestly mind it that much and most of it is legit, it's mostly just people who are blowing it out of proportion like crazy. I don't think it's too far-fetched to think that the majority of gamers have more games than just FO:NV, especially with all the highly anticipated games coming out recently (
Call of Duty:Black Ops is coming out on the 9th or
Fable III which is already out to name a couple). I also don't think it's too far-fetched to think that the majority of
people can't find something else to occupy their time while FO:NV is undergoing "repairs" and whatnot.
The other part of my rant was about people freaking the hell out because they weren't receiving an update every 20 minutes about a patch being worked on. Obsidian/Bethesda initially stated they were reading the forums and working on a patch, that's all we need to know... it's been roughly 2-3 weeks and the forums are aflame with people losing their minds over the lack of updates, gimme a break. As I stated previously, what makes anyone think that one of the most highly anticipated games of the year (if not
the most highly anticipated game of the year) would be released with little to no follow-up support? It's preposterous IMO, this isn't
Aion for crying out loud... I dare say Obsidian/Bethesda have much better reputations than NCsoft, lol. :lmao:
Anyway, I suppose it may be a bit on the hypocritical side but so be it, it is what it is.
(Not trying to start a flame war either, I'm rather impressed and appreciative with your ability to hold a discussion civilly.)
