Okay Bethsidian, I am impressed.

The Black Mountain Radio won't end after you do the quest with Raul, will it?
I'm a little disappointed with the stations to be honest, I was hoping for more stations and more variation. However, I've got to be happy with a country-westerny type of station, a Galaxy News type station and another station which is just pure music. I hope the radio station that has no host has different music to the one that has a host that does all the updates and stuff like Three Dog. It'd be stupid if the only difference between the two was that one had no host and the other did.

I dont like the idea with pure music only station. It doesnt make sense. Why anybody would waste resources to just for that people could listen music in the nuclear wasteland? They dont gain anything from it. :( Atleast enclave and three dog radio had their own real purposes.

Hey, that's true. Never thought of it that way. But I don't really mind.

I'm going to reserve judgement on the country-western station until I hear it. I don't like the stuff played on country radio these days, but there are good country songs out there. I'd love to roam the wastes to Ray Charles singing "your cheating heart" (from his excellent country album) or Patsy Cline doing "how can I face tomorrow". Old singing cowboy stuff like Roy Rogers or Marty Robbins could be fun too.

I would assume its not modern country.

I've been doing it. Bethesda is doing the PR, and Obsidian is doing the work on the game. I'm assuming both are responsible for music and dialogue. It's just my way of calling this a joint operation.

Nah, I just mean that they both are working together. Im assuming Beth is purely a publisher/pr role. But either way, it's a joint project since they are working together.

The title theme (I would say, since it's similar to the one of F3) is nice. The stuff after, the string quartet for background, as reported probably intermingled with old tunes... Whoa. Very sweet, not that bland stuff we had in F3.

Good music. The hornpart kinda takes it too much to the world of "epic" in a (sort of) fantasy way, but what follows seems nicely eerie and threatening in a way - just the way it's supposed to feel.

The music was great. It's gotten even better than Fallout 3's, which Obsidian seems to doing on every front. Not to bash Bethesda though. They created an excellent basis for Obsidian to work off of. Obsidian seems to really excel when they have something to work off of.

Haha I hope no one takes it too seriously. I only meant it for comedic purposes. I don't have anything against Microsoft, but when I saw that photo and saw the "screw the rules, I have money" post, I couldn't resist posting it.

Topic is silly, Bethesda is not Obsidian and Obsidian is not Bethesda, they are Very different companies that happen to be working together right now due to the unique nature of the situation. The music? By Inon Zhur and little bits of historic Mark Morgan - neither of which work for Bethesda or Obsidian, they are independent artists that get hired per-title. So why Bethsidian? to be funny? :shakehead:

Happens all the time with Publisher/Dev names. EAxis was Electronic Arts and Maxis for Sims 2 communities. Not a first for Obsidian either, Biosidian was thrown around on the Bioware KotOR forums when Obsidian were making KotOR 2: Revenge of the Killer Gamebugs.

Hey, OniOne!
You didn't steal part of my sig did you?
Or was it some sort of crazy coincidence?
I must say I'm suspicious.. :stare:

Coincidence? Meh, I saw it and I took it. WHATCHU GONNA DO ABOUT IT!? Huh! Huh? Better get yourself a gang before you front me like this ya Wasteland BRAHMIN TURD! :stare:

Nah, it's been there for months dude, obviously we share the same source... "Our American way of life." Is my morning spiel if I'm having peace, freedom, and bacon and eggs for breakfast. My salt and pepper shakers say peace and freedom respectively. In fact, I recite that intro any time I smell either bacon or eggs. Some times I just say bacon and eggs. Bacon and eggs. S'my mantra. Isn't it grand. But... what if it's not? :nuke: [Not An Actual Atomic Blast]

Add one Kentuckian to that sentiment. Just gimme a Fat Man and point me at the transmitter.

also add an a Georgian to that list, give me a super sledge and several country radio DJs (including Tabitha) and u have a blood bath on your hands

What do people have against country? I mean, sure, badly done country can be as frequently encountered as any kind of bad examples of any style of music. I mean, loot at The King - passionately switching between country and hillbilly rock. How is that bad? ^_^
