Oh and the Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe. My sister and I would watch that everyday. So much that the vcr cassette broke.

Space Jam - I used to watch this every day.
Independence Day - Same as above, I used to watch it every day.

And the Disney classics; Beauty and the Beast, Lion King etc.

All of these.

Drop Dead Fred (Well it's a movie I watched when I was a kid :P)

I was only 8 when Bloodsport came out. I had already seen Bruce Lee stuff by that time. Had a cool looking cover in the rental store and begged my gramps to rent it for me. Yea, parents were liberal. I think I turned out alright....

*drop kicks hole in the wall* :toughninja:

To be fair, the heart-ripping, child-slaving Temple of Doom was hardly more of a children's classic in its uncut format, and that was a PG rating. :P

Oh yea it was. They showed that movie in every grade during my elementary years. We are talking about the Gene Wilder one I hope. The Johnny Depp one was unbearable.

Others:
Stand By Me
Big Trouble In Little China
Lost Boys...of course
Bloodsport
Gymkata

Oh wow! I was beginning to think that Gymkata only existed in my imagination. Nobody I know has ever heard of it and I've never found a copy of it.

I used to wake up super early on Saturday mornings (like 4:30-5:00) so that I could eat a few bowls of cereal while I watch a movie that I wanted to watch before my sisters woke up and wanted to watch Saturday morning cartoons (they liked Jem and the cartoon version of Punky Brewster) and before my parents could wake up and tell me that it was somehow an inappropriate movie. My favorites were Terminator, Robocop and Aliens.

Gymkata

Hehe. Richard Norton as a bad guy.
Since that reminds me of China O'Brien: Anything with Cynthia Rothrock. My mother wouldn't let me watch most other things of her B-flick collection, but whenever there was a tape out of a Cynthia Rothrock film, I had to watch it with her.
Good ones as well. Also yes the Gene Wilder one....the new one was.....creepy.

Just randomly throwing this in: I find it funny how "Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory" is more about Charlie, whereas "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory" is more about Willy Wonka. What a weird world we live in...

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0089908/ is a pure piece of art. I enjoyed it so much as a kid even tough it scared the crap out of me and nowadays I'm still a fan, mainly because it is not a kid movie at all. It's dark and very disturbing for a kid.

Toy Story. When I watched the ending of the 3rd one, I was close to tears.

Ditto. I can still remember my mum taking me and my sister to the cinema when I was about seven to watch the first one.

The Lion King was my favourite when I was younger.Loved Bambi too though and Free Willy

Same! I think The Lion King's my favourite Disney film.

And Free Willy was on TV a couple weeks ago. I hadn't seen it in well over a decade.

I forgot to say The Brave Little Toaster too. That movie was more of a musical, and I only saw it once but it was pretty great from what I remember.
