I am only one that doesn't care for Them.

So i am not getting either one, simply because i am fed up with online muiltplayer, and don't like how it has SOME modern day games, now i use to love Call of Duty until i realize what it has become, and i do like the idea of Battlefield 3 and what DICE is doing, but it smells of EA all over it,so is any one else not getting either, getting one over the other, getting both? Please let me know and tell me why or why not.
Also, I don't like all the little kids online and campers is why i choose not to do online Muiltplayer, and Call of Duty Franchise is a Mega house that sells Headphones with their name on them just to make a buck now.

I removed my SW-TOR preorder for a BF3 one, just because the game looks great.

I say at least give BF3 a try, or watch some SP and Mp videos. I will likely pass on the new COD.

I'm not getting them simply because FPS games are not my cup'o'tea.

I'm quite sure they are the best in their genre but when you're not into the genre the quality of the games falls short.

I play Gears of War. To be honest I don't play multiplayer that much except for that franchise. Even that can get annoying. I should really just play through RAGE. I started that game but got distracted by Gears. It won't matter as Skyrim will be here soon!

No interest in either, the only shooter on my radar is BioShock Infinite.

I do not generally play FPS games.

That being said, I will be getting BF3 because my friends are all getting it and I will play it with them online whenever they are on (XBox LIVE is the only way I communicate with some of my friends who are overseas in the military).

I will not buy COD games for two reasons:
1. They simply rearrange the order of unlocking the guns and then release a "new" game every year.
2. Activision used to be a great company but is now a hollow shell of grasping suits. There is no creativity there anymore.

I played the BF demo, and it was pretty fun, but I can't see myself buying it.

Count me in the "not getting either of them" crowd. My FPS of choice right now is ArmA 2, and it doesn't look like those can offer anything which would make me change my mind.

I like HC on BFBC2, so Ill see how BF3 is, the game is looking awesome. I just hope we don't have a lot of camping the jet and helicopters again.

Aww who am I kidding, I know its going to happen.

I have that, and I wanted to like it. I just could not get into it. That and it tired to kill my pc, for some reason I just can't get the game to a constant playable state.

In general, I do like FPSs, especially stuff like BioShock or Mirror's Edge that has an interesting environment or mechanic. I've got MW1 and 2, but I bought them both after they'd gone down in price. I much prefer Battlefield, Bad Company was great, I only played the multiplayer of BC2, which was great. I'll probably get BF3 at some point, but probably not for a while since Arkham City and Saints Row the Third will be taking all my money :P

Yes, it's one big resource hog. If it's any worry, after you have it running, it'll do its best to kill your character in dozens of innovative and unfair ways ... it's just that kind of a game. Or rather, military simulation. :)

My favourite rage-inducing memory is when, after running for over an hour (real time) through the landscape and not meeting even a single enemy, I got one-shotted by a sniper I didn't even get to see. And had to restart the mission. :D

Gears of War 3 and Skyrim for me. That's all I will be playing. I might rent MW3 to play through the campaign or my little brother will end up wanting it for Christmas or something so I'll just get it free of charge if that happens. :P

I am way to disappointed with Bioshock 2 to even consider getting Infinite.

As for BF3 and MW3 well I do have interest in them. I think BF3 looks like a pretty god game and I hope it takes COD of its throne like it deserves too. MW3 I will get just for the sake of getting. I know most if not all my friends will get it so it's something to play for 6 or 7 months if its decent enough.

The new MW looks just like the old one. I didn't really care for it, so I don't think I will buy this one.

BF3 doesn't look that bad. My brother has bought BF1 and BF2, but I have never got around to playing them. I am sure he will eventually buy BF3 and I can give it a shot then.

As for online play, I don't play online.

Which has been the only reason to play COD after MW.SO I don't blame you for not getting it.

Did not like CoD4 upwards.

Enjoyed battlefield bad company and 1942 ones but not a fan of the 'new' ones.

I dont really care for multiplayer games anymore. I probably wont get either COD or BF3. I sort of want to get BF3 for the graphics and benchmarking purposes, but other than that, there is no reason for me to get it. I liked COD4, and that was the last of the COD games I enjoyed. I still play some Counter Strike Source sometimes though, thats the only multiplayer game I still play.

I am way to disappointed with Bioshock 2 to even consider getting Infinite.

BioShock 2 tried to cover old ground and did so with only moderate success. We had experienced just about everything that made Rapture interesting. Infinite is a fresh start in everything but a basic premise. Plus, Ken Levine is doing Infinite where as he had absolutely nothing to do with BioShock 2.

I didn't think BioShock 2 was a bad game, it just wasn't necessary.

While I enjoy CoD and Halo every once in a while for gaming with friends on the 360, I honestly don't care for them anymore mainly because they are trying to be MICHAEL BAY! and EXPLUSHION EXPLOOOSION AND EXPLASIAN! moments everywhere.

I can't get excited for FPS games anymore. After shooter season 2011 I just couldn't find it in me to care any less.

I used to like Halo though. The old one, on the Xbox. And Medal of Honor: Allied Assault...

If Timesplitters ever comes back I might get interested in FPS games again. L4D2 and TF2 are the only ones I play nowadays.
