To be fair, the guy did put a spoiler tag on it. You have no one but yourself to blame.

Anyway, it's not a big deal -- you know it was that guy from the begining.

So basically, they'll introduce the guy and show him killing you (or atleast show him at the beginning some time), and it won't be really a surprise or a quest of finding out who shot you, more of a quest to find the guy who shot you?

And why he shot you.

When you think about, it doesn't make sense not knowing what the guy shot you looked liked, when he was right there in front of you, likely making a cool bad guy speech. Personally, I'm still looking forward to meeting the guy. (I say the guy since some still might not want to know who it is)

ok i guess its alright then.. i just thought it would have been a big enough secret that they wouldnt give away on the forum ya know. but i guess its ok. at least i dont have to worry about wether or not im killing him. he is apparently a weasely crime boss so i guess i will have no remorse.

Having amnesia makes no sense, because you, as the player, knows who it is. And when I play, I am the character, and the character is me, so it's unfair if the game just goes ''you don't know who this person is because we said so.''

It would be extremely silly if he pulled a replicated man. He shot you in the head twice. I don't think he expected you to survive, and if he even thought there was a chance I doubt it would make him want facial surgery.

I think the big mystery is what is in the package, why they want it, and why they felt the need to kill you for it.

Sawyer has already stated that you won't have amnesia, so there's nothing to worry about in that regard. You'll know very well who shot you, or at least what he looks like.

Though I'm excited about the other voice actors, I found it a bit weird that Matthew Perry is the voice.

He will always be Chandler.

On a gameplay, note I reallly hope you can enslave Benny.

the shooting is just supposed to be a gateway to the real conflict so it isn't really anti climactic at all

Yeah but still, there was all this speculation as to who shot us and everyone was guessing who it was and what they'd do to him/her when they caught up with them.

I'm actually fine with knowing who our shooter is as long as we know he did it from the start of the game. I really never thought about who shot the Courier anyways, so its no big deal to me.

I find it funny though how i came in here thinking this was a thread about the FPS part of the game, and after mindlessly reading for like 10 seconds i found this piece of info out.

I wonder what dialouge options we will have with Benny. I assume he will be scared [censored]less when we approach him. I think we'll have the option to either say: "Time to die jack-ass." or, "So your the one who shot me? You were good enough to take me down, wanna join up?" or "Hey you hiring?" and finally, "Either you take off your clothes and run around the city or a put a bullet in your head. Your choice mother-[censored]."

Don't worry, this image is from the opening cut scene, so if you wouldn't have found out here, you would've found out right off the bat when you started up New Vegas.
