For anyone who wonders, the high res texture pack is in the DLC section under Links in Steam's Games Details page.

Gonna do comparison screenshots before & after, and with FPS numbers ticked on to see performance hit :)

Happy modding, everybody! Looking forward to see what we can all achieve. :) Miracles, at the very least, I am sure!

Downloaded CK, now downloading the 3.127 gigabyte texture pack.

Interesting how they did the texture pack - it's a set of BSAs with ESPs, so you can turn them on and off, they don't just automatically replace your existing texture BSA and they won't override texture mods either.

sounds like they did it right then.

Damn, can't goof around with the CK and download the texture pack at the same time. Texture pack download pauses automatically if you launch the CK (or the game).

The CK is a bit confusing. You can't create new races like in the old one. You can't add the textures to them. They are now in the .egt file.

Have fun everyone... =)

i wonder how extensive the highres pack is... like, which highres mods we dont need anymore? I turned them all off for the moment.
Are highres modders actually angry because of all the work they have done?
