Overpowered,,,, overschmoward

Use self control, problem solved. Anyone who has 200+ dam weps is deliberately making them that way, by using numerous armour enchants and alchemy/enchanting loops. Be advlts and recognise your choices have consequences and these "problems" disappear.

Won't happen, will get the usual risible claims from the crowd who demand BGS wet nurse them.

If a game presents combat situations, it's generally accepted that the fun and entertainment value come from overcoming the challenge. You don't rush into the fight intending to die, and for the most part you don't avoid those situations. RPGs present another challenge in addition to the combat - stat and equipment choices. When I'm presented with that challenge, I want trying to overcome it to be as entertaining and challenging as possible. In fact, before RPGs became FPSRPG hybrids, that's practically all there was to challenge you, stat and equipment selection.

Sorry but I have to vent....

I have read too many posts about this is over powered,,, that is over powered....

over powered = over schmoward

this is a SINGLE player game...... only you are playing this game with a bunch of NPC's....

If you feel something is over powered for your play tastes,,,, then don't use it.

People play a single player rpg with the mindset of a mmorpg player....

Your not competing against anybody but yourself.... therefore.... challenge yourself

Ok I am done venting now... thank you drive through

i share your sentiment... reminds me of the old WoW crowd when i still played... "nerf mages...unfair advantages for enchanters"... it s the same song... don t let me find out that this was the reason to exclude spellmaking in this game, so that mages werent that "OP"

balance is still important but your right its not as important as mmorpgs.

i havent tried mage or full warrior yet because i do a mix of the 3. but next time im going full mage with heavy armor i'l learn fast whats wrong with it or not. i mean if it takes 1000 years to kill something then its broken.

Only wack jobs talk about this and that being over powered, the same people who want to make new characters all the time so they can play pretend.

I didn't finish Fall Out 3 before turning it in, might not even finish Skyrim because of how boring it's getting using no perks and I heard it was a short game.

Yep. Toggling between expert and master, smithed up to 100%, not 1 shotting anything except low level creatures and bandits, having a whale of a time, as opposed to people who seem to spend all their days on the forum complaining about a non-existent problem.

Don't have to use Daedric gear smithed up to 200%. BRB, getting best gear in game, maxing the hell out of it, then complaining vociferously about how excellent all my gear is. Actions have consequences. Deal.

I think the point some are trying to make is that it is annoying to accidentally make yourself so powerful the game becomes less challenging.

Now that I know mastering smithing, enchanting, and alchemy makes one a demigod, I can just use one of them.

Yes, it a single playergame, but the rules of gameplay balance still applies. All games, even singleplayer, need gamebalance.

I hate to say this and I understand it may not be good form...

But thank you very much for venting for me too!!!

Everything in the game seems to be way overpowered or way underpowered - mostly overpowered, to some on this forum. All those "definitive" statements are kind of ruining the game for me. It's almost like I should be ashamed if I'm not playing on Master with no armor and a pickaxe for weapon -- and if I can one shot kill a Elder Ancient Super Uber Ultra Dragon with that overpowered pickaxe should just give up games and take up basket weaving instead.

Thank you OP for venting for me

(I'll try to control myself now)

But OP :foodndrink:

Boys, stop arguing and derailing the thread please.

This game, like it's predecessors has exploits that you can find or figure out if you are creative. If you opt to use them, then that is your perogative, it's a single player game. But I don't, I barely use the console commands on PC. I just like to play the game.

Play nice please.
