Holy crap at the video. If that had happened to me when I played the game, I would have screamed and immediately unplugged the computer. (I almost did just watching the video.)

I shot tea out my nose I was laughing so bad watching that vid, the bit when he was hunched over hovering accross the floor with his head on upside down, then he says ''looking good so far'', I was like, no your bloody not mate!!

There is a general rule when it comes to software development; for every 5 lines of code theres 1 bug....

now seriously, i couldn't fathom how many lines there are, especially when the game size extracted is aprox 10gig.

IMHO i'd rather have a game that works now with a few bugs, than have to wait another 6months+ for a fully tested, de-bugged version.

If they had turn round and said, hold up guys we're pushing back the date most players would have started trolling about how bad that is and how disappointed they were, and STILL would have complained.

Congrats on another good game bethsidion.

Its also the other way around... They tested the heck out of it, hammered on it for weeks. (months?)

The choice is A. Hammer on it some more and likely find nothing for a month, or B. release it, and find most of what they missed in a week and spend the other three fixing it.

Reminds me of when I took the GOAT in F3 and everyone just sat there in silence. I didn't know whether it was part of the game or a bug, so i sat and waited for 10 minutes. That was the patched version...

 Ha ha heh! Love it. :lmao:

As I've said in other threads, it's all fine and good to have bugs, but when the engine being used is 6 years old and been used in 2 prior games then how can you explain still having massive engine related bugs. You simply can't.

Bethesda dropped the ball completely, can only hope that Obsidian actually made a good storyline to make the issues and money worth our time because for me Bethesda has no clue how to make a good story from Oblivion and FO3.
