I haven't actually picked anything, but the other day driving home, I noticed some bushes alongside the road and thought, "ooo, snowberries!"

I'm dreading shouting Fus Ro Dah at my boss.......

Not to be antagonistic but I highly doubt that you subconsciously thought you were still playing. It just seems like to jarring of a difference sitting in front of a TV or monitor to walking outside with your dog to be believable. That being said I'm not a psychologist so I can't say for sure.

I was looking at a Police Officer who was standing just outside a recent car accident.

"No lolligagging!" he said.

I was stunned.

And then he said he used to be like me...

And I ran away before he could finish the rest!

It would be the dog being quiet that would clue me in that I am not playing the game.

When completing mundane tasks your mind can drift, mine drifted back to skyrim. It was around 1 am in the morning, i had been playing for around 16 hrs just moments earlier and it was dark and disorientating (didn't attempt to cast magelight). It is a true and accurate account of what happened. You're not getting into the spirit of the topic here.

When I learned the Unrelenting Force spell, I get off work all excited...then I wondered what would happened if I yelled FUS RO DAH in the parking lot....imagining all the cars being thrown about. Then, when I got inside my truck...I wondered what would happen if I yelled FUS RO DAH while inside my truck...would it hurt my eardrums from the pressurized cabin?

When I play Battlefield 3, I often double check the plants thinking I can pick them. I also double-check the rocks because it looked like Iron Ore was all over it

Yeah right I thought I was still in the game so I killed people in the street. That's so funny we're all laughing madly out loud on the floor with tears of joy.

This happened to me when I first started playing Fallout 3. I actually picked up a dirty bobby pin off of the ground and put it in my pocket. So far this hasn't happened with Skyrim!

No, I get that much. My mind floats back and forth between the different games I'm currently playing all day long, while I am in class or at work or even playing a different game. It might be because I was really drawn into concepts of game design back when I first got serious modding for Oblivion (I'm going to school for game design now) so maybe I just think about it from more of an isolated viewpoint. When I play a game I'm theorycrafting and making notes on how the game systems work while I play so it can be hard to get the full entertainment experience.

Like Angrytony said though, I often try and do things from one game while in another. But this did give me an awesome idea. PC + Skyrim + Projector + Outside + Hacked Kinect.

Who's we? are you attempting to gain favor and use a 'rally' spell in reality, right here, on this forum after that comment?

He's more of a buzzkill than Buzz Killington.

There are a few who could use a good Calm spell with a duration of a week at work. If only....

Hilarious thread. :D :tes:

I find myself dreaming about Skyrim a lot. Im a very lucid dreamer and tend to have "out of body experiences" with dreams. So when you lucid dream you can control what is happening, its amazing what you can do with your sub-conscience.

Ever since Morrowind I've started having my eye caught by plants that I pass as I automatically check to see if they are harvestable. Especially if they look similar to an in-game plant.
