as long as its not another "huur whats this button do OMG AAAAAUGH" ending, im fine. Also, as long as they dont come out with anything that continues it im fine. I dont want to see another BS pop up.
That's exactly what they'll do with the first DLC release.
Absolutely not. All good things [games] must come to an end...
Fallout 3 and Oblivion are great games.
Doesn't bother me at all.
As I've stated elsewhere, I frankly hate it when you can play on after the ending. It really takes the power away from it. And even if you do that... sooner or later you're going to get bored about running around in the wasteland doing unmarked quests or whatever you're doing, and close down the game and boy, that's an anti-climixic way of ending things if there ever was one. Plus, let's face it, the game is static so it can never quite become the "second life" that it's sometimes advertiesed as...
Then just delete your character after you complete the main quest. I don't see why we should be forced not to play after the end.
There will be a mod if you wish to play after completion. Don't sweat it.
A lot of us are playing it on the console.
It won't bother me, mainly because you'll miss out on a lot of stuff on the first playthrough, making the second playthrough better.
And I liked Broken Steel, but then again, I didn't. It messed up and diminished Fallout 3's ending.
If we were to play after the last "main quest", it'll mess up New Vegas' ending as well.
Vanilla Fallout 3's ending was trashy and Broken Steel only helped justify it.
