I would disagree with the basis of that statement, for example

All cancer is good cancer, makes about as much sense as what you just said, no offense.

Still not holding my breath on this, it will be up when its up.

That would be nice but I have stopped caring about Playstation and the Playstation Network. When it went down I bought an Xbox Live Gold subscription and now that is all I really play. I even went through my Gamefly Q and changed all the multiplatform games from PS3 to 360. I'm not abandoning PSN completely, but the 360 is now my main console.

It's likely they will test during the weekend. As I already wrote in the other thread, Sony has confirmed that they slowly raise their number of testers to assure the servers are stable.

:D

Don't worry, I am not about to sell my PS3 anytime soon, it is a good Blu-ray player and has some excellent exclusives (Killzone, Uncharted, LBP).

I just can't believe it's not up yet. How do people do it if they can't play thier Multiplayer games?

Didn't any new games come out that were mainly multiplyer? I wonder if the PS3 sales were hurt because of this fiasco.

He means it should be up by tommorow night, and if that is the case there should be something on the blog within the next couple hours.

PS3 sales were actually up 13% in April.

My point still stands jerk

Yea but when compared to how much the 360's, which was 60%, 13% is pretty bad.I'm not trying to start a console war but when comparing the two one would assume that if PSN had not gone down the numbers would be much closer. So in a way it still hurt Sony.

Why? Because he switched away from a product that failed?

It hasn't failed... it's just having trouble right now. People will be regretting the switch when PSN is restored.

When they give away 75 million ccs, I see that as a failure.

This has nothing to do with console wars (the 360 is actually FAR more likely to have a hardware malfunction than the PS3), but going to the 360 to avoid product failure is a bit nonsensical. Entirely switching one's main platform to an unreliable platform because the other one had a temporary respite from online service doesn't make all too much sense, for me. I'm not criticizing the decision, but I don't believe it makes much sense to go to the 360 for a reliable product.

75 million credit cards were far from compromised.
