Not on a Friday or Saturday night. You might find a club nearby that plays whatever kind of music you're into on a Tuesday night or whatever, but not at any point where they want to draw in a lot of customers.

Depends how you define "proper" music. I for one just look for radio stations that play what I like. If they play mostly hip hop for example I'll like most of what they play, same with metal and rock stations. I like most music though, so I don't have much trouble with the charts etc.

Sure, most of it is crap, but there's still a lot of good music out there.

if you want to know some good radio stations, look em up on the internet Im sure there are lots of stations playing retro stuff or whatever you like.
