Since its Vegas with so many chapels where Elvis impersonators can marry you, I think an oh so twisted version of this should have survived the 2077 war. A cult of Telvis -- white leather vested people chasing you with pistols (like the ones he used to destroy tvs with shows on them that he didn't like) for your jars of peanut butter, or because you didn't go to their casino show or because you walk by them with the wrong radio station playing on your PIPBoy, etc. Kill them, kill for them, etc. Too many comic moments to miss.

The Church of Telvis, I like it!

I also think Michael Jackson should also have a church, too, not very 50's but then again, New Reno was about as far from the 50's as you could get in the Fallout Universe and I still loved it. Myron, probably the most memorable talking head in FO2, was straight out of an 80's teen comedy flick and I couldn't stop laughing at his antics in response to every situation he was confronted with...

Talk about religions has to restrict itself to in-game religions; otherwise, it's out of order.

Talk about Elvis as a ghoul has its own thread; please use that one, not this one.

Irrelevant anyway, seeing as Zombie Elvis is clearly the one true God.

I think they should have some religion factions, crazed flagellants and preachers, self proclaiming holy men, etc. At least more then what FO3 offered.

Oh you silly atheists -_-

I think some cults should spring up, but overall it shouldn't be more than what was in Fallout 3. A cult that springs up around the player might be fun though, declare war on another cult as well. Sounds like fun to me :P

Religion would be good addition to the game, however I don't want to see it take over the main focus of the game. FO3 had a good balance I think and wouldn't mind seeing it in that form in NV.

I like whacky humorous religions like the hubologist or children of atom, nothing too serious or real life religions.

Was it really necessary for the other atheists to bash religion? No. But they did. End o' discussion.

Was it really necessary to mock the forum rules and clear directions given by a moderator not to discuss real-world religion?

No.

But a lot of you did anyway.

Thread over. Do not start another or bring the subject in another thread.
