What did you have to do to get NV? : Fallout: New Vegas

Luckily I have a job and get that in about 2 hours or so.

but i'm just going to use the money i have saved up since i can't wait until my birthday
Im sure the money i get will cover this and the games im getting up until christmas

I didn't have to sacrafice to pay
but i pre-ordered in June
and walmart isn't expected to send it till the 27th!
some how they messed it up and i have to wait longer then people in sweden! :thumbsdown:

I had to be at Walmart at 7:01 am to get it. Only when I wandered into the games dept. i was told that they hadn't gotten their shipment yet and all they had was the collectors edition. So, yeah, I ended up paying $87 for the CE. Desperate times call for desperate measures i guess.

i sold, 2 of my guitars, a suitcase full of lego, a few old transformers toys, a pile of dvds and old games so that i could upgrade my pc and buy this game... but this game is going to come before half of my new pc parts, d'oh

being an item horder really is beneficial in real life too!

$60 I guess. I'd rather wait with a game than trade anything in, never have. Its simply not worth it. Of course I buy most of my games when I can get them $10> or some other good price, NV was just an exception.

If I had to trade in that many games just to get one I would wait until the game was cheaper instead.

It actually is aa stress reducer, for example:

If you have that many games you may feel the need to have to play all of them and with the little time some people have, it could cause stress. Keeping just a couple games will greatly free your mind of the use of time.

aaa, now see i guess i'm fortunate in the sense that i get $200 a month (i'm 16 and jobless) buuut that money DOES have to cover my lunches, anything i may need e.g. new clothes. So in a sense i did have to save up because at the end of the month i'm left with like $20 if i'm lucky and I only started playing fallout 3 a few months back so it's not like i had a year to save up or anything :shakehead:

I'm 15 but I worked during the spring/summer plus my birthday was recently so I have enough for the major releases this year and then some.
