I am a bio-chemistry masters student with a part time job on the side who took two days off to play Fallout in the middle of midterms. I had and lost my one shot to play the game before Christmas and I spent those two days staring at my desktop because the game won't even start.

Im just glad Obsidian and Bethesda dont make weapons or armor for our military.

In my job peoples lives depend on the quality of my work. Im so use to making sure every piece of equipment i give out is in perfect working order, i just dont understand how a company does this kind of stuff. You think im going to give someone a M-16 that i know has a rusted bolt and will lock up when he tries to fire it. And to someone who made a comment earlier on this topic.... if i did that, i damn well dont deserve a day off!!!

I know its not the same thing, its more of an anology. just think about it

lol by now, everyone in Bethesda is at home sleeping or playing fallout on their consoles.

I doubt that. Have you looked at the Fallout New Vegas console forums? Amazing such a shoddy game could be released even for consoles.

Public Relations passes the info on. The coders and modelers aren't coming to the forums saying they're working on it.

And yes, the devs go home. They deserve a break. Games out, you can wait a day or a week for the fixes.

Actually they don't. They released a buggy product. Last time I check we paid money for a working product. Sadly the industry has made it the norm to release unfinished work these days.
