Where's your evidence that only a small number of people are experiencing bugs?
This is a claim that has been seen around a lot lately, and it's interesting that the people who are saying this are those without bugs. You made the claim, now back it up with figures, please.
He said a small majority, ie "greater than fifty percent."
On the other side, it's always the people with bugs who say "ZOMG everyone is having bugs, this game is crap!", and they never provide figures to back up their claims either.
Probably because there aren't any figures to be had. For either position.
As we can quickly see - neither side has enough verifiable data to back up a claim that they're in the majority. Without statistics of numbers of bugs - and something to compare that data to, it's always going to be just one of those cyclical arguments.
(ie, someone would have to do a quantitative anolysis of what percentage of every person playing any version of the game was experience how many bugs - and then be able to compare that data to a similar study done for a similar game. Or at the very least have some manner of defining what would constitute an "acceptable" level of bugs, and then compare that data to Fallout: New Vegas.)
The thing is, no one knows. Maybe the majority of players are seeing tons of bugs. Maybe they're not. Those coming to this forum looking for answers to problems they're experiencing probably don't even care about this, that much - I'm going to assume they want their issues fixed in a timely manner. Those of us who aren't having such problems - well, what do we care, then? (Because, worst-case scenario, we'd be one of the lucky few.)
Anyway, this particular argument falls into the "prove it or it didn't happen" rule of forum manners. Obviously, anyone who infers a majority of players are / are not experiencing large amounts of glitches are going to have to have something to back up that statement if they're going to expect anyone to believe them. As it stands, I don't see as how it would be verifiable either way.
