dunno if i'd ever want to do military tho honestly.. coming from a country where they force you to join if you don't go to school kind of ruins the whole "cool" aspect of it people have here.

10 perception is just too big, even at seven with the sniper cap I can see tiny figures in the distance that I can barely aim for. Charisma does boost follower's stats, and boone's spotter perk is great for identifying long distance, night, or hidden targets. ED-E's perception range is insane, maybe it also affects draw distance?

Maybe ditch entomologist and get the magazine perk. A +20 skill boost can go a long way towards skill checks, and you get +1 skill from skill books. It also lets you max your lockpick and science at 80 and still be able to open very hard challenges.
