The first gun I owned was a silenced varmint rifle with a night scope.... I was lucky how the mods spawned on the vendor.
Everything else from then on just doesn't feel the same. Except maybe the grenade machine gun and AMR.... they are pretty satisfying BOOMsticks in their own rights.

i have a question ... i bought my trusty .44 magnum from gun runners brand spanking new and it looks beautifully clean and awesome, do randomly found .44s plucked off dead cretins look just as clean and crisp or are they scuzzy and worn?

I think the "clean" look comes from installing the heavy frame weapon mod.

That moment for me was reverse pick pocketing some C4 onto a guy and then seeing him shoot up 100 feet into the air as I walked away.

Sledgehammer (regular, not the Super Sledge. I have yet to try that one out just yet) + Super Slam gives me a shiver. Seeing my character spin around, smack a guy in the gut, and send him flying ensures many hours of fun.

When I was storming Camp Nelson with Veronica and ED-E there was a Legion Explorer who came running up to me. I hit him with "Mauler" in V.A.T.S. (the spinning attack move) and he literally got sent flying. He ended up getting tossed about 100-120 feet away from me (though I was standing on top of a freaking hill, so I'm not that surprised).

Oh, and Pushy has been amazing too. I've been having a little competition with Veronica to see how far we can toss Powder Gangers (she's got a Ballistics Fist).
