Super sledge, killing has never been so fun, until i made an unarmed char with..

Spiked knuckles. Yeah, i'm serious. Uppercutting those damn fiends, there's just something so magical in it, i love being violent in games. I like it close and personal, that brawler kinda thing when both sides are melee and you just punch them in the face and it explodes. Blood, gore, all that stuff, so damn awesome.

For me, it was the Tesla Gun. No contest. Just something about a death-ray that ends in a 25' circular explosion of liquid light and death makes me giggle.

So like the title states, is there any gun that when you fire just sends a shiver down your spine when you use it?

For me it's probably the Riot Shotgun. The Hunting Shotgun is mega satisfying, but there's nothing like pulling out the Riot Shotgun and sending someone straight to hell at point blank.

Makes me wish they had brought back the old Fallout 2 combat shotgun, or even the Jackhammer. Oh god a true burst-fire shotgun... imagine loading it with slugs... *drool*

It's the Sniper Rifle for me as well. Although I haven't experienced the Anti-Material Rifle yet. So I couldn't change my mind.

Def the YCS/186 unique Gauss rifle with the Meltdown perk.
First thing I shot with this thing was a sneak snipe on a fiend and it was like sniping with a plasma grenade launcher. Pure freakin awesome.

For me, it has to be the Sniper Rifle, the kick of it, the sound of it, supressor or no, it's all beautiful for me. Especially when you snipe from far away, and you hear that 'doom' sound when you get experience points. :blush2:

lol I agree with with you. I've always loved that even in 3.

Definitely either the Ballistic Fist or the Displacer Glove. I haven't decided which I like best.

For me it was the first time I beat (the guy who shot me) to death in (his base of operations) the first time I ever saw him, in front of everyone, even with no holdout weapons. It was on my unarmed/melee character and I'd just picked up the Super Slam perk. What a rush!

And then from there, generally, the high tech cyber punch weapon, the same one Veronica has ... it just feels so good, even if there are better unarmed weapons. The 2 of us just smashing people between us to meat ... so so good.

Also, Spiked Knuckles. YES!

As for shooty weapons, I really like the feel of the Cowboy Repeater. Hunting Rifle *is* better but Cowboy Repeater *feels* better. I love Ratslayer too. Ratslayer feels like magic.

I also enjoyed the hell out of the All American. I felt so awesome with it, tho I've barely had a chance to use it because the character that has it has no repair skill and few caps to repair it and I'm re-making him anyway. :)

9mm pistol.
Started a new character today, Jimmy T, which only uses pistols and knifes.
Anyway, the 9mm pistol just felt so good in my hands that I wanted to slide [censored by choice].

How many shots can it pull off before you need to reload and what kind of ammunition does it use?

my first "oh god i love this gun" moment was in hidden vailley with a hunting rifle modded with an extended mag. One shotting the bark scorpions from the hill, laughing, almost wishing for a giant wave of them to attack me so i can leisurely pick them off.

I *love* how the Cowboy Repeated feels to fire, the kick, the sound. The reloading animation/sounds as well.

Also, the bigger Magnums also feel really great.

A few.

Guns - Hunting Shotgun, a classic exercise in dismemberment.

Energy - Laser Rifle, not incredibly powerful, but has a certain purity of form that I find appealing.

Melee - Tire Iron, the ideal "blunt object". An iconic weapon if ever there was one. Nothing better than the metallic "thonk" of it bashing someone's brains in.
