Dear Bethesda Softworks

and how does that help support the gaming industry?

The Industry gets full sale price, and Piracy is dissuaded. Bethesda don't have to worry about the logisisics and all of the costs in content/patch delivery saving them money as Steam handle all of that in a data centre that shares costs with other games developers and publishers cutting costs for all. Exactly how it works now.

(Remember when its unsteammed, Bethesda have to find another way of getting patches and DLC to you. This means they have to get some servers and bandwith that is just going to sit idle sometimes (such as when theres no new patch or DLC), whereas when its outsourced to a platform like steam, that bandwith and capacity can be used to deliver other products in quiet time)

Bethesda also get to save money not having to pay SecurROM.

(I'm sorry, the industry has no right to expect us to buy games multiple times. This isnt supporting the industry at all).

I don't care who develop it. but i want only one thing. I want the REAL GAME PLAYER develop it. not with someone just sitting in the nice office and never play game.

other words.

I want the gamer develop the game, not some crap executive always after the money in their mind.

Right. You said you missed the surprise from Fallout 3, he/she said, in response to that and that alone, the original developers worked on the game as if that was to change your mind, I responded questioning what it was supposed to mean, you said he was responding to a question in response to my question/statement while you hadn't even asked the question you said he was responding to by the time he responded with what he responded, and now you acknowledged that it was later on and so I question what it means again in a confusing post summing up what just happened.

I've got to record that post. It is perhaps the most confusing one that I have ever written. I'm just going to go get some turkey and cranberry sauce, now.

Lol sorry, what I was SAYING was that I liked the game but the only thing I didn't like about it was the fact that everything is open and visible to you with no surprise element (and the fact that the game potentially destroyed my Xbox) and I was ASKING if Obsidian or Bethesda had developed the game, and that turned into "wait, so Black Isle. is part of Obsidian???" somehow, and that's where you came in. :ahhh:

Sorry to confuse you, jeez, I wish I could use this as a tactic in Vegas :hehe:

Do you have to be online at all times to use Steam, just out of curiousity?

No.

Dear Bethy,

Work along with Obsidian, save Bioware from EA, and do not accept nothing of Microsoft again
Make the next games:

Node map system.
Complex and highly detailed stat mechanics.
Greater dialogue (no showing us the speech checks for example [Speech 74/90]
Optional isometric turn-based combat.
Dark as hell.

And I'll come over and do a lapdance for each and every employee working on it. ;)
