Sigh. Yes. A "girl" thread. Shut up.

 Yes it's wub. You want to forge a realtionship with her. I am not saying it's love but you are starting to mature where you want an actual relationship, be it a good friend, or boy friend/girl friend and then take it from there.

Ah, puberty ritual. Common among species with hormone-driven reproductive urges.

I wouldn't do the friend thing first, sometimes it works awesome but other times you just get hurt really badly. Why not just ask her for something casual, like coffee and make sure she knows its romantic, but don't go all out right away.

It's the wub, hard to approach a girl when you're in .

infatuation does not equal love
love must be reciprocated

to the OP
just ask her out. Chances are she'll say yes.

Well, that's the thing, I'm definitely not looking for a one night stand type of thing. I actually get the urge to..listen to her..and to know how she feels.
It's not like I just want to take her out for one night, I want to forge a relationship, friendship at first, and then go from there. But I just lock up completely when she comes around me.

Well if it′s honest then I′m just gonna jump on the bandwagon of "just ask her out" it′s a way to get to know her. It may be hard to ask but she won′t condemn you to any dark places just for asking and the more time you spend with her the more comfortable you should be around her, so if she says yes it′s pretty good. And even if she says no it′s better than not asking since if she stops being a part of your life not knowing if she would have said yes or no would probably nag at you for ages.
