Well with the new Zodiac symbol, Ophiuchus (Nov. 29 - Dec. 17) and all, I am now a Gemini.

I was a Cancer before Ophiuchus.

I however don't care for Astrology and stuff like that, so it's no matter to me. I heard it's just for people born after 2009 but even then I really don't care if it changed. Just consider me a transgendered astrological anomaly. Geminancer.

I don't believe in horoscopes, anything that was disproved 600 years ago just seems silly to me. :shrug: I am however born a Leo but after the whole "sign shift" or whatever you want to call it I'm a mudcrab.

in the past I used to have a passive interest in my Zodiac sign, I read the description of a Gemini, and it is fairly accurate to some extent.
Now though I really don't care. I never bothered much with Horoscopes, but I would read it if it came up. Now, even if an article gives the Horoscope I generally don't bother looking at it.

One weird story with my Zodiac sign though. Back in Senior year of High school last year some girl who'd never bothered talking to me found out I was Gemini.
This was her reaction:

Her: "hey, you're a Gemini?
Me: "uh, yeah I guess, I've never bothered with that though"
Her: "that explains a lot actually"
Me: "uh, what do you mean?"
Her: I feel funny when I'm around you
Me: .......................good funny, or bad funny?
Her: I don't know, almost like being buzzed
Me: "..."
her: "now I know it's because you're a Gemini, and that makes me feel better"
Me: uh, okay wait, what?
Her: "you don't know? Geminis have subconscious effects on my sign" (I forgot what sign she was) "these effects can even be profound, it's a strange feeling that affects your thought-process."
Me; uhm, okay, well, that's good to know I suppose."

I honestly don't know how to respond to that. I don't mean to put down her beliefs, I'm sure she takes it very seriously and thus has an emotional reaction to it. She also was a very nice girl that seems perfectly sane and intelligent but that was just...bizarre

if anyone would care to explain this phenomenon it would satiate whatever curiosity that sparked.

The Water signs (Cancer, Scorpio, Pisces) are good with Earth Signs (Taurus, Virgo, Capricorn) but have problems with Air signs (Gemini, Libra, Aquarius) and Fire signs (Leo, Aries, Sagittarius)

If that girl was a water or earth sign, it's possible that she felt a weird negative energy with you since you're an air sign. I for one, as a Cancer, have serious incompatibility with Gemini and Libra, but that doesn't stop me from being attracted to them in a weird way, just to have things go wrong later.
