I hate to sound like a fuddy-duddy, but if waiting for a video game to come out is a big concern in your life, go hug your parents. :)

Geeze? People are really that excited about Skyrim? I know it's the next TES game and all, but it's as if it's the second coming to some people.

Music. Mastodon's new album comes out the 27th. I'm honestly looking forward to that more than anything else right now. I also have my guitar. It's always fun learning how to play new songs or coming up with my own. I've come up with some insane riffs lately.

As for games: Arkham City. With school, work, homework, and other [censored], Skyrim will probably be out by the time I finish AC.

It's not so much surviving as it is dying a little every day, until the greatest game ever to grace the planet comes out :tes:

Lol Skyrim, I'm more excited for 10/11/11 and 10/25/11, 11/11/11 is just another day.

Its spoken: "Dis Es", because its french:)

PS: Deux means two in french

it is pronounced like "Dayus Ex". The developers themselves say it that way and so does every journalist. There is more than just one Deus Ex game and they actually went by Deus Ex. So that being said why would there be more than one number 2's? The first Deus Ex was also Deus Ex, not Single Ex or number 1 Ex. Besides, if the number 2 held any value then this one is technically number 3.

I'm probably not getting Skyrim anymore on release date like I had planned so I'll have to wait until christmas.

So, to the original question, I just bought Dead Island and that'll be holding me over for a good long while. I also have school and practice everyday of the week so I get home around 5. Homework'll bring me to 6. Then the city hockey games start soon and everyone goes to watch the game and hang out so I've got a full schedule until christmas really :D

I already have my GOTY, Deus Ex. Something tells me I will cope until Skyrim releases.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Deus_ex_machina It's Latin. It actually makes sense if you know the plot of the first game in the series.

Ever since I discovered my laptop can run New Vegas on high settings, I've been having a blast with mods for the first time in my life.

So many of these threads... seriously do some of you have nothing better to do in your life besides wait for a game? It's going to be an awesome game yes, but go and do stuff!

Pick up Dead Island, its a game you can certainly invest 25-30 hours on if you take your time and enjoy it.
