The game looks incredibly boring IMO.

It's not, the second one is one of the best games I've ever played, especially in terms of story, and the ability to make you feel like you're playing through an Indiana Jones styled movie.

All I've seen of it is http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PnU5rTJc3m0 gameplay trailer, and it just doesn't look fun to me. It looks very cinematic, but that's not what I look for in a game.

It's not really, the gameplay actually manages to remain really good, there's lots of traditional third person shooting, and really good platforming. It's still cinematic, but honestly it plays really well.

I don't see how people can claim Uncharted is good when its just Tomb Raider but with a guy and better graphics.

Did Nathan Drake
-Fight the Kraken
-Kill a T-Rex with pistols
-Use Excalibur to kill an ancient Queen of Atlantis

Nope.

How is he more cool then Lara again?

Not really.

Ive played all the Tomb Raiders and Unchrateds and it really is about the same.

Uncharted just has better graphics so it runs smoother.

I'll come clean now and say that the most I have played of either of these series is a bit of a demo for Tomb Raider: Underworld:
I have to say that if every developer of games, author of books and director of movies and TV thought the way you do the entertainment industry would be incredibly stale.

How so?

I am not recommending devs make games any certain way, so I don't see how a comparison of tomb raider and Unchrated means games will be stale

I didn't mean any disrespect, but it's incredibly difficult to make a game without pulling some ideas from previous games. You implied that since Uncharted is very similar to Tomb Raider why should anyone enjoy it? The vast majority of cover mechanics used for games are extremely similar to Gears of War's system because it's the best. Every fantasy video game that has ever come out owes a hell of a lot to the Lord of the Rings. Developers borrow certain ideas from previous games because they really enjoyed them and want to put their own spin on them, and truly original ideas are few and far between in the entertainment industry. Tomb Raider also borrowed a lot from Indiana Jones.
Just my opinion anyway.

Who's getting U3?

I bought it on Friday and finished it Saturday afternoon. A very good game, to be sure, mostly due to the atmosphere created by the sterling performances and gripping story. However, the game isn't a masterpiece. At least, not to me. I actually think the second game was the best. However, I am not disappointed in the third. The Uncharted series is one of my favorites.
