I think perhaps the biggest problem for those of us who have been playing the elder scrolls games since the start is the fact that Bethesda set the bar so high with morrowind and oblivion.
I also dont think that the hype and expectations many of us had for skyrim has helped.
My biggest gripe is the dumming down of the game. I love complexity in games and absolutely hate "gun and run" type games.

And yes please please please bethesda release the tools so the mod makers can really make Skyrim shine so it can stand next to its forebears as an equal.

This is my first Elder scroll game i have played. Im really enjoying it a LOT. I probably bought it because i enjoyed FO3 and New Vegas (from same company). But i am having issues with the game aswell. Crashing a lot when changing areas. Happens mostly right after fast travel. I never had any issues with Fo3 or New Vegas so i dont know what has happened here. Someone mentioned BF3 here and that work just perfectly for me aswell.

There are many bugs around but so far i have been able to work around them, Bonechill Cavern for example crashes everytime unless i keep looking down. Console commands help a bit too with some of the buggy quests. I have never tried any mods mainly because i svck at tweaking program related settings etc. I just let the game decide my settings and go with that. I hope they fix this stuff so i can enjoy this game even more. This game has the potential to rank in my personal top 10 rpg games, but at the moment it falls a bit short.

These guys have to be among the top 3 of gamecompanies that are lazy as hell. Lets make consolegames and port to pc for extra money attitude is gonna backfire. How about some effort and making it DX11 compatible, how about some higher resolution textures, how about an exe that can handle more then 256mb(lawl), how about answering people on your own forums..... [censored] i could go on for hours like this.

At the end of the day we can come to the conclusion that it will be people that dont even work for them that will turn this into something what it should have been.
