How many Dunmer have died in Skyrim? The have very long natural lifespans.
Also, Morrowind is not uninhabited, its just economically and ecologically devastated. Its quite likely most Dunmer would ship thier dead home to be buried in the ancestral tombs, if they can. And given the long natural lifespan, its not impractical to do so (outside of mass disasters, etc).
