People don't really hate Skyrim

truth is in the eye of the beholder.
i have yet to be disappointed by the writing. and imo there is good and bad writing. im not gonna list things i like reading and things i hated reading but suffice to say i more or less agree with the op.
with the exception of his saying that no other game matches skyrims scope. vanilla morrowind was bigger. that being said im only like fifty hours into skyrim and i have barely touched the surface.
skyrim is great. ive had a couple irreversible game hurting bugs, but i feel that is a small price to pay for a game this great.

Yeah, this thread is full of nothing but
Spoiler
opinions

Sorry to tell you OP but you don't know everyone's opinion's towards Skyrim and their reasons for thinking it. I for one dislike the game because of how lackluster it is and how many features that are present in games that have been released in the past 10 or so years(like good dialogue and choices) and what they added is extremely shallow like enhanced graphics. Sure I don't hate it, I want to love it, but I can't because of how little depth there is.

Actually you made my point with that last part. I didn't literally mean everyone does not hate Skyrim, I was pointing out that the majority of complaints are coming from frustrated people, not genuine haters.
