They keep saying I favor the bow, and that I'm a sneak thief even though I focus on magic and one-handed swords. But I do like when they say I'm the one that casts those illusions, or I'm that mage from the college.

I think there should be a check on your stolen items count if they're going to call you a sneak thief. My Sneak skill is high but I have no stolen items...I just like to avoid fighting so I move around trying not to be seen as much as I can.

That one is both annoying and immersion-breaking when you're trying to role-play a pure warrior with a healthy disdain for magic. Unfortunately, since

the main quest requires you to join the college

then it's unavoidable unless you avoid that quest altogether.
