So What Are You Doing In Skyrim?

Post » Wed Jun 06, 2012 10:22 am

I set Nords on fire, thrall them, and do it again. As such Skyrim has an abundance of Nords.

I gotta catch them all, you know.

Lol, very funny.

Got my smithing to 100 and made dragon armour. Looks good. Shame you can't make dragon weapons. They would look awesome.
Why is'nt it stronger than daedric, if you need 100 smithing to make it? That's wierd.

Went exploring and found a blood dragon and dragon fighting each other and everything in sight.
Waited till they were fighting seperate things then took them out one by one.

Making sure Shadowmere is always left somewere safe now, after losing her last time.

Got Frost for Louis Letrush. Was so tempted to take him, he's such a pretty horse.
But I did't know what would happen as I had Shadowmere. Would both horses be waiting for me when I went to places?

I will get Frost before Shadowmere next time, then he will go to rifton stable probabely, if he does'nt travel with us when I get Shadowmere.

Now that's one mod I'd get if I had it on PC. Very handy!

In other news: the newly-named Thane of Whiterun is journeying to Solitude via Rorikstead. Having cleared Bleak Falls Barrow and retrieving the Dragonstone, he returned to Farengar. He then ran down to the Western Watchtower with Irileth and took care of the quest there. It was actually quite challenging for a Mage with only the two lowest levels of destruction available - sparks and lightning bolt.
He returned to Whiterun and was named Thane. Afterwards he did some enchanting and on his way out of Dragonsreach he was greeted by Lydia.
In Solitude, Jerian hopes to join the Imperial legion before climbing High Hrothgar, Lydia in tow.

Cross-country murder/vampire horse trip was a rousing success. Bounty in Whiterun got out of hand though, it's at like 22,000 gold. I'll pay it off whenever, I can easily hide in the shadows to get to my house/shops and back so I'm in no hurry until I need to do some Companions radiant quests.

Once again started off on exploring Eastmarch and Winterhold. Wanted to sacrifice Stenvar to Boethiah but now he's MIA somewhere, so I'm just going to wait for him to get tired of following me then just grab the next follower I run into. Or if I get to Windhelm sometime after he does, I'll just grab him again. Or maybe murder him. I don't know, I'll see what happens.

Jerian and Lydia made it to High Hrothgar. They seem to have a system worked out, which worked very well against the Throat of the World's resident frost troll. Lydia stays far behind pelting the enemy with her arrows, while Jerian goes slightly closer to rain destruction magic on them - far enough away for him to avoid melee damage but close enough to be accurate and avoid having Lydia killed.

Jerian isn't sure about his opinion on the Greybeards. They don't seem to care about the civil war raging beneath them, or the dragon crisis.
Speaking of the civil war, Jerian spoke with Legate Rikke and received his task - to clear the bandits from a fort. That's next on his to-do-list, followed by finding the Horn of Jurgen Windcaller.

I had a really wonderful conversation with Paarthurnax last night and it helped to understand the mystery of why the dragons have returned to Skyrim. After I take something to Meridia's shrine, I'll be off to find an Elder Scroll. :tes:

Trying to get a script working so Veronica can absorb the souls of the dead(not just dragons). It's really pissing me off.

Veronica seems a bit ... Evil? Considering she's going to absorb the souls of fellow humans. May I ask the story/logic behind this?

Ostensibly Niamh is heading for some cave or other to retrieve a book for the Winterhold MG librarian.
She's easily distracted however, and has ended up in a lighthouse...

Athena's become infatuated with the trophies that Delvin and Vex display in the Cistern of the Ragged Flagon, and is now trying to complete as many jobs as she can in Riften so she can get more.

Soul Magic.

It's loosely based on the concept of the power that Rose and M.Bison(Street Fighter chars) possess(Soul Power in the case of Rose). But there is a twist. Veronica absorbs the souls of the fallen and then become one with her own soul..and yeah I'm making an NPC version of her that will act as her "soul" and each time a soul spell is used, the health of her HP is drained. Because even though the soul is infinite, the body is not. I plan to make an encounter zone where her soul is stored and at regular intervals the souls of those I've absorbed will rebell and attack Veronica's(who cannot fight back). So I will have to protect my very soul or die with it.

The only spells I have working so far is Soul Magic itself(which adds the Soul spells and removes them when the effect ends), Soul Convert(HP ←→ MP). The primary and most important spell, Soul Transfer, is the one I can't get to work..

Veronica is not evil. She is a vigilante. Though I joked around and called her the evil version of batman ;p. She spends most of her days in a little room I made, with dead bodies of people and animals, and testing spells on them.
