So What Are You Doing In Skyrim?

Post » Wed Jun 06, 2012 2:34 am

Not much really, lots of hunting, odd quests.

Having completed MQ, am trying to decide whether to bother with doing the Companions quests, not keen on the werewolf storyline, or go Imperial/StormCloak in the civil war storyline.

Oh yeah and waiting for official DLC.

Must try some of the current add-ons from Nexus too.

I was just exploring the land of You Cannot Go That Way and finally found that arch that leads to the east of Skyrim. When I get near the edges of the map, I try to follow that line just to cover everything. I imagine what it could be like if I could just keep going and see more places, some I've seen and many I've never seen. :tes:

I'm hunting rabbits FOR SCIENCE! while still trying to puzzle out my character build. I swear I will do the main quest in a TES game some time, I just need a setup I can actually stick with.

Rez the retired Imperial Legate has continued on with his adventures. He had just got out of a dungeon alive after teaming up with a greedy woman hell bent on getting the treasure deep within. Of course her greed got her killed by a gruesome trap, leaving Rez the sole owner of the treasure. He is now considering investigating the Forsworn Conspiracy in Malkarth, a city he blames for getting him on the path to cannibalism, which is something he still regrets.

Jet the Dark Elf Assassin has started his first major contract for the Dark Brotherhood, which requires him also to go to Malkarth. However Jet would like to improve his One-Handed skills with his Dwarven Daggers before continuing on.

My current Bosmer got a taste for death after joining the Dark Brotherhood and is now a serial killer in Whiterun (for now).

The Dark brotherhood is worst than being a skooma addict. Hail Sithis! :D

Zatara did another set of 10 additional jobs for the Thieves Guild working his way towards completing enough to get the safe. As a reward to himself, for jobs well done, he has no elected to raid 4 bandit infested areas that are rumored to have boss chests at the 'end' the anticipation of what he may find inside is making him a bit antsy.

Rupert (250lbs, 6 six foot 8 inch tall, great-sword slinging, totally honest and upright Nord) has been dungeoneering with Aela since about level six. For quite a while he has been aware of strange feelings whenever he is near her. Feelings that no amount of cold baths or, when no river stream or sea is handy, bathing his wrists in cold water can assuage. When his sense of smell is clear (and let's be honest the stink is those dungeons is bad to start with, then add in the stench of blood and sliced intestines once Rupert gets going with his blade) Aela's natural odour (feminine sweat and just a hint of wet dog) leaves Rupert all a tremble and at a loss as what to do or say.

Will he work out that slaughtering even more dungeon denizens or taking even more cold baths will not provide a solution to his problem? Will he be able to keep his tongue inside his mouth the next time he meets Mjoll? Or will the ever fragrant Aela finally take a proper bath, with soap?

FINALLY got around to finishing the main quest. 90 hours of gameplay, and that's without even finishing any major questlines either.

Niamh is currently clearing out Forsworn, wherever and whenever she finds them. Oh and scratch one hunter - in fairness it was self-defence although said hunter had caught her stealing from a shrine of Dibella.
Don't judge her, if she hadn't have taken the gold someone else would have done...

She's indirectly making her way to Ivarstead to give bear pelts to the mill owner and after that? Well after that I suspect she going to go catch up with Namira, and possibly curtail her vegetarianism, in exchange for a priest.

Veronica stumbled upon a Thalmor fort, and killed everyone inside including the prisoners.

If anyone is interested in taking this fort out, here's a screenshot of the location: http://zassyen.net/images/ScreenShot54.png

NNW from Volyskgg(sp?)

Edit: In Oblivion I was very skeptical of High Chancellor Ocato, but after reading how he tried to save the empire and was assassinated by the Thalmor which he knew was problem, I avenged his death, and Im not skeptical of him anylonger.

Northwatch is part of a quest that starts in Whiterun.... hope you don't want to do it eventually!

Iizlovaas just defeated Alduin, and is on her way to Whiterun. On the way, she decided to make a little detour via Shearpoint to get another shout in her peaceful invisible way as usual, but things got a little complicated. You see, undead cannot be left roaming around, the dead should remain as they are supposed to be; dead that is. She eventually managed to get the words first, and then defeat the undead while evading both his fireballs and the dragon. Now only one challenge is left: making the dragon return peacefully to its lair (i.e. it may not follow her) ...

In Forelhost - Niamh had a very interesting chat with a Stormcloak captured who very shortly afterwards passed away...
...Forelhost has been a challenge - and indeed still is.

It's a shame the nearest large settlement that she knows of is Riften because even by Niamh's INCREDIBLY low standards it's a [censored]hole. Mind you she's been making a habit of steering clear of the large ones, truth be told. Once you've spent long enough in the wilderness you tend to grow wary of too much contact.

I have probably broken every Thalmor/Stormcloak/Imperial quest in the game, since I kill them on site and is hunted down by them, so it's all good.
