I have used the Oghma Infinium, only when My character reached level 72, to finish off fully leveling him.

I have used the dawnstar chest glitch, early on though

I have used the fortify restoration glitch to create what I call god armor , Felt too powerful , but I kept the high carry weight item so I don't have to leave items to cause game save bloat.

I have used a horse to get back into the thalmor embassy, courtyard so I could get the stone of Barenziah.

I always use the house buying one, I've used the Oghma Infinium, the arrow gathering one in Solitude, and the NPC arrow thing. :tongue:

Start with the book in your inventory.

1) Activate a Bookshelf.
2) Open the OI (while in your inventory).
3) Read whichever Path.
4) Close the book.
5) Place the book on the shelf.
6) Take the book off the shelf.
7) Select Do not read.
8) Go to step 1.

Wish I would have known that earlier. :swear:

The only "exploit" that I've been able to try out is the one a lot of people know, the fast blacksmith leveling. Buying all of the iron ingots and leather strips that you can, and make as many iron daggers as you can. Rinse and repeat. I believe the reason it's iron daggers and not anything else is that it is the cheapest way for the amount of experience it gives you. It will however take a couple of hours to get to level one hundred. Also, make sure you have a decent sized coin purse!

I've heard about a gold exploit before, but never heard any actual success with it. If anyone knows it please tell us!

Mehrunes Dagon shrine will stop spawning opponents after several attempts but will keep spawning loot. It is probably the best loot area in the game.

If you avoid the cell during the respawn period it's supposed to always spawn NPCs, but even on my 2nd one it seems to be 'stopping' and I avoided the cell after screwing it up on my 1st character. Maybe I passed across it one time at ground level and bugged it out. <_<

The first floor (street entrance) is called a basemant on the map, IIRC. I lived there last game. My mannequins danced every time I came in that way. Freaked me out.

Was the Dawnstar chest changed in the patch? I went there looking for it, armed with photos and maps from online, and couldn't access it. So I tcl'd and went under, and it's waaaay below the ground and its trigger is actually on it rather than above it. Maybe those crafty cats got wise.

I plan to make use of Mehrunes Dagon's respawning shrine. I've pretty much cleared the surrounding area so I shouldn't have any problems accidentally entering the cell and breaking it. We will see, I guess. Now that I've switched weapons to work on my two-handed skills, fighting summoned daedra is fun again so I'm looking forward to it.

You need to make sure the caravan is in dawnstar or else the chest will not be present. I have the most recent update and it still works fine

The caravan does not need to be present.

I could never get that location to reset. I remember reading somewhere you had to wait something like 60 in game days. Any quicker way about this on console?
