So PS3 & 360 players get nothing while PC players get Mo

It's only 2 years old. (I think)

I used to be able to play AVA (FPS game) on maxed out settings with almost no lag.

It still plays good till my laptop randomly acts stupid after I use it too much.

Sounds like a heat issue then whens the last time you used compressed air in the vents?

Consoles may be simplifying PC users gaming experiences.

PC's may be forcing consoles into DRM's like Steam.

I don't believe either is the case... currently.

Well, DRM as it exists on PC will most likely never be needed on console because... and you'll probably take offense from this but it's true, but because the average console player is not knowledgeable enough to know where/how to successfully pirate a game. Fact is that pirating a console game is just as easy as doing so for a PC game - you just have to add an additional step of writing the game to a DVD/Blu-ray. But in those millions upon millions of casual console players there are relatively few people who actually know how to compared to the PC gaming market.

Consoles are simplifying the experience of PC users. I'm being completely neutral (but it will taken as pro-PC and unleash a platform war anyway so meh) when I say that: it doesn't even have to be a drastic difference in some scenarios. No advanced video settings, no proper keybinding or a ported console UI - these are elements that clearly affect the experience of PC gamers as a result of console development. It's a simple fact.

Yeah, consoles are closed proprietary platforms. Take it up with Sony or Microsoft, if you want player added mods.
