How are you preparing for the CK+surprise?

Waiting is a wise choice, steam will probably crash today.

Agreed steam is already moving very slowly right now, taking forever to DL Kindoms

I'm in Avenel, BUT staring at a huge building that I don't want to go into and listening to some crappy Pearl Jam.

It's a nice day and I'd rather be at home sleeping or playing Skyrim. As for the ck and the surprise. I'm at work and won't be able to do anything about either until this weekend anyway so, it's inconsequential to me.

Nothing.

It's a modding tool.

I already got mods.

Eventually I'll get more.
Well said.

I really think it`s a whole lot of hot air. Everyone`s getting excited like little Khajitt kitties expecting mummy.

It`s going to be a major anti-climix I think.

The surprise? at best will be the Hi-res texture pack everyone talks about as that would have no effect to either the Xbox or the PS3. If the Surprise is anything content related it will be at least 30 days from the date of release before we get to see it so if not the texture pack just more waiting.

I just bought an ASUS 1080p 16:9 HDMI monitor for my PC.

I can't wait to check out whatever it is they add to this game!

same, i don't care how pretty that rock gets, its still floating 3 feet off the ground. CK is needed much more than a texture pack.

Well, all this time I've been wondering:

"What do they mean by 'put the final touches on' the CK?"

Didn't they use the CK to build the game? Shouldn't, you know, the final touches already be there?

I know that "wondering wtf" is not actually "preparing" for anything, but that is what I'm doing while waiting for the CK.

A stable, bug free game would be so much better than a surprise.

...asking for too much aren't I

Well, I am sitting here thousands of miles away from home awaiting my immigration visa interview tomorrow. Can't wait to get home and play around with the kit on Wednesday and hopefully I will have good news on the visa front.

Good luck on the visa.

I'm sitting here all antsy-like with Steam's toolpage brought up. I svck at waiting for things. Not sure if I should deactivate my mods or not. I want to take the CK for a spin; haven't made a mod since Morrowind (and they were nothing major).

That's not how it works typically in the game industry. The tools you use to make a game only ever get finished somewhat after the game itself if they ever get done.
