Skyrim without fast travel... 002!

Post » Sun Jun 10, 2012 2:03 pm

I am exploring but I still use fast travel (but not often)

Tonight I used it when I did a quest and I had looted all that was available to loot (to raise funds for my new hom) and I really did not want to have to walk there and back to collect the loot, so I fast traveled then.

I have really enjoyed not using fast travel as Skyrim is so beautiful to look around ^^

So far, I've only fast-travelled one because certain someones kept running into a Thalmor patrol and dying, but fast-travelling magically avoided that otherwise-inevitable encounter. Other than that, no fast travel other than carriages. No fast-waiting either.

I don't use fast travel, and my character doesn't use gold so I don't use the carraige ride either. Also my character doesn't have a compass, so the opacity is all the way down.

I tried to play the game without fast travelling, its just sooo dificult. Especially when you are full of equipment and you run out of health potions.

OR say you're in on the Westside of the Map (Windhelm/Riften) but you need to go ALL the way to the Eastside of the map (Markarth).. cases like that I often FT. But I'm going to try and not FT with my new char.
