Tell me again why I should Dual Wield?

Well, the real advantage to blocking with a 2-hander, IMO, is the Quick Reflexes perk. Using that, you don't actually block the damage, but you can avoid those awful power attacks being executed by other 2-hander-wielding enemies.

I love 2-handers myself.

Agreed! Quick Reflexes is one of my favorite perks in all of Skyrim. Excellent observation.

It looks awesome, in TES, its always more fun to do what you want rather than worry about getting the best gear, like in every other game.

If you are looking for a mod to allow dual-wielding to a single hotkey, checkout Extra Hotkeys by eldiran http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/downloads/file.php?id=3865 and the Interface Hardcoded Tweaks by Crazy-G to remap buttons http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/downloads/file.php?id=88 You can get 60 hand-specific customizeable hotkeys on top of the initial 8 in the game.

I've posted this a dozen times but bears repeating.
You can not hot key weapons for dual wield. You can not hotkey a set of weapons, you can not specify left hand/right hand with hotkeys. You can successfully switch back and forth between DW and a two handed weapon like a bow with hot keys. What you cannot do is press a hotkey for another one handed spell, weapon, or shield. Doing so breaks the DW relationship and you will need to go back into your inventory to reassign your LH weapon. Personally, I despise going into my inventory during combat and so I have given up on DW.
