One man's "tedious micro-management" is another man's valuable roleplaying mechanic. That certainly won't stop Bethesda from taking even more away, though.
Exactly. I have FNV heavily modded so that the repair/craft lists are expanded. I actually have fun collecting various junk items and scrap that I can use to repair/craft later. Some people play video games to go BOOM BOOM BOOM and others like to sink in and be immersed, taking it slowly. And should I not feel like repairing a certain item? I drop it and go looking for another one, or buy it. I know--who knew you could actually loot and buy things in an RPG?
No reason whatsoever to have taken it out except to make TES easier.
