I usually keep myself occupied with something else for a minute during load times.

I only own the Xbox version, but going off of what I've seen of my cousin's PC version, I'd say the console version holds up surprisingly well. The graphics aren't as good, but the aren't necessarily bad. If you've played the PC version, or play a lot of PC games, you might have a tough time adjusting to navigating the menus, being that they are unavoidably slower due to the lack of a cursor. Also, no mods, so your gaming experience is limited to whatever creations and fixes the devs make. Besides that, I'd say there really isn't too many cons for the console version compared to some other multiplatform games.

My biggest complaint with playing on 360 was the lack of mods and the insane loading times every time I entered a cell. It was ridiculous, and it ruined the game for me.

I used to play the xbox version only, then I bought the PC version for mods (seeing Jayus Swords on the nexus made me realise I bought the wrong version), whenever I am watching my brother play on his xbox it's so... fugly? Maybe I am too used to my high res modded Skyrim that vanilla just looks barren without distant detail and glorious grasses, along with other goodness.

The load times I never used to notice when I played, but watching my brother I notice them alot more. Weird.

Try the 360 version. I personally am not going to waste money on a pc just for mods. I'm perfectly happy with the way things are on Skyrim. I got a nice 60 inch hdtv, surround sound, a nice and distanced chair, and not have to worry about spilling drinks or food all over something. I love 360 to me its better than pc. Eventually I promise you mods will come to console. Count on it!!

Not to start somthing, but PCs walk circles around the 360, there is nothing the 360 can do that a PC can't do just the same.

I have played Oblivion, Fallout 3, Morrowind and a bit of Skyrim on my computer, and I haven't even tried any on a game console. I thought about buying Skyrim for my X-Box 360 but I have three questions-

1. Are all of the additions in the patches for the computer included on game consoles? (Bug Fixes, spell kill cams, mounted combat, ect.)

2. Is it that different playing the game on a console?

3. Is it harder to navigate through the in-game menus to select or view something, such as the inventory screen, the inventory screen while looting a chest or, other item and the skill tree screen?

1. Yes, if you're referring to official patches. No, if you're referring to anything else.

2. Yes, mods.

3. Yes, SkyUI (mods).
