Dawngaurd: start over or max out?

Max out

Spoiler
looks like you need an elder scroll. It might be a new one acquired through the Dawnguard questline, or the one acquired at the end of the vanilla questline. If its the vanilla one, then you're going to have to pretty much beat the MQ in order to get it. I don't think you'd want to do that more than once.

Todd has already stated in his Skyrim playthrough when asked about DLC before Skyrim was released. He said that we will need the Main Quest COMPLETED. Aswel that I have completed two suitable characters who are both Vampires ironic enough... To be honest when you beat the game it is still fun but Vampires add a slight challenge... And who doesnt love Crouching right in front of someone lol

You're very right about that. I'm hoping it's the former.

Max out since Dawnguard will be alot bigger challange.

On Another Note - My concern with Dawnguard:
Spoiler
My only concern with the Dlc is the file size when you save a game while playing through it. I have a file save of 20mb already and it freezes going into certain dungeons, mainly Blackreach of course. I'm hoping that with Dawnguard downloaded, I want freeze constantly while playing it. If I do then I will have no choice but to start over completely, and I am NOT one of those people who play more than 1 character.

For the roleplaying aspect decide on your character and how the character is portrayed. Maybe your characters seeks to kill every vampire there is then go join the dawnguard or maybe youll have to make a new fresh character whos full of evil to join the vampire side. Also probly be atleast lvl 20 some of the creatures look tough in the game, specially the gargoyles.
