Vampire Hunter benefits?

Really hope they add an alternative high-level armor set, getting sick of Daedric and Dragonbone.

My Steel Plate armor is actually above the armor cap, so you don't have to wear those sets if you don't like em. Wear what you want! Just make sure to be careful with Smithing/Enchanting/Alchemy

My benefit is too have a clear conscience, and get revenge on these blood svcking parasites.
For role playing, K'helt was turned into a vampire, hated the Idea of harming people to survive, so when I was told to drink blood so the guy could trust me, I left a cure disease potion next to the person I fed on, and If i could I'd leave a apology note too o.o

If I could join the Vigilant of Stendar I would, but Dawn Guard sounds just as nice.

The vampire hunters will be able to grow a nice garden due to the abundance of sunlight.

Edit:

You do not necessarily need to be an evil vampire. You now have the ability to drink blood potions instead of harming others for your blood lust. I am surprised that there aren't more people who plan to be "good vampires".

She's certainly no saint, I'll give you that. I guess a better example would be Count Hassildor

Now he was decent fellow! ... and a real Vampire Lord... well a Lord who just happens to be a vampire.. but still he should make an appearance in this DLC if only as an easter egg

I guess not being a vampire can be considered a benefit.

So at E3, the focus was on vampires. I get it: it's very flashy and a lot of players will at least try it out. I'm actually genuinely happy for you vampire players, even considering the fact I won't ever play one.

So what about us Dawnguard? What rewards can we expect?

- Armored Trolls: Equivalent to gargoyles and hounds I suppose

- Auriel's Bow: Not faction only, but it's an Aedric artifact and will likely serve us well, IF we level archery. if not, get a follower whos a marksman?

- Crossbows: I doubt this is faction only

- Dragonbone Weapons: Is this faction only though?

- Faction recruitment?: This is speculation, but I think you can recruit for the Dawnguard. That probably means you can have more than one follower at a time when you hunt vampires. Nifty eh?

- Holy Magic: Again, speculation, but Dawnguard is said to have new spells.

Thoughts?/Input?
-Armored Trolls: are probably equivalent to a upgraded normal troll.

-Auriel's Bow: if it's Aedric then it is not for the use of vampire lords.

-Crossbows: not faction only

-Dragonbone Weapons: forged at a blacksmith's forge not faction only (plus why would you think faction only?)

-Faction Recruitment: yay more of you foolish Dawnguards to kill

-Holy Magic: definitely not for vampire lords or vampiric beings

Holy Magic, Auriel's Bow and Faction Recruitment are what appeal to me most. I wonder if there is a reward for turning in Vampire Dust to the Dawnguard? Like with the Order in Oblivion

Thank god there is new armor, other then the ebony mail and nightingale set I can't stand the rest. I like the new dawnguard armor, reminds me of something a Stark would wear in the Game of Thrones. Hopefully there is a new set of armor for the vampire character as well or at least some new clothing when not in vampire lord form.

I'll have to take another look at the armor, maybe it wasn't as bad as I remembered it. Hopefully it is high tier

I'll become a holy vampire lord with twin repeater dragonbone crossbows, and smite those evil vampire hunters back to the Dawnguard of time, as the villagers rejoice and vanhelSing stories about me!

Vampire hunters get the same thing that the vampires themselves receive the honour of extending my beast form by 30 seconds.

Oh come on think about two fantastic new location I can go on a killing spree without having to worry about not being able to walk into again!

you know that turning into bats is a dodge move right?

There is a perk for the Vampire Lord that acts in the same way as the Ebony Mail's (deadric artifact one) ability to inflict poison damage on nearby enemies. This ability has a swarm of bats attack nearby enemies like the poison damage on the Ebony Mail. I believe it has a Drain Health effect.
