CK (Non-Steam PC) Question.

Nevermind. I read your first post wrong.

Anyway, why don't you just get steam on your non-gaming PC? I mean... come on. If you wanna play with the CK just turn on steam, when you are done, turn it off. It's not like you need to have steam running all the time? Or did you not know you can turn steam off?

And you say you don't want programsrunning that you "don't really need". Well guess what, you will most likely NEED steam for the CK to run. So. Yeah. You can always try to find a way around it, but why make it hard on yourself?

I was not aware you could..
Ether way, Ck will be running on one PC, and Skyrim on other.
That way i can check in-game for locations, test it on the spot. It just makes it easier. >_<

i finally logged into steam today to update to 1.4 patch

1) Can you play still without Steam?

2) Does it need an Internet connection to play?

3) If playing off-line mode, do you know if it has to phone home (get on-line) every few days to keep game running?

1. You need Steam at least running to play Skyrim.
2. Once you activate the game, no.
3. Nope. Steam can run in offline mode forever and ever.
