I wish they would talk more. There are exceptions: Vsions forum posts, if I was Pete Hines I would have shut my Twitter account under the weight of the pre-release madness, and Wes Johnson gave me a wonderful explanatory PM after I posted a scathing attack on Oblivion's Sheogorath accent(s) explaining exactly why he was voiced that way, but PS3 users do feel left in the dark, and GStaff's posts are businesslike and all too rare.
Other than that, free extra content in patches, serious amount of content for your money, my (and many others) personal favourite worlds of any games, and I am sure there is a team working hard to get around the PS3 architecture/memory partitioning, but a little more explanation of who is doing what and what problems they have to get around with some mentally complex code would go a long way.
We are customers and fans, they could make us feel like family by taking a few minutes out a week to post something that would engender a lot more understanding than bare bones announcements of "what we are working on".
Perhaps they are just tired or overwhelmed. We must take in account, they are not in a box office playing and ejoying, they are working, and sorting a lot of pressures... worst if they read the forums. Imagine, you are tired, working in your office trying to resolve loads of config problems then one of your mates came and say "hey dudes, know what I readed on beth forums??" . Yes, it can be hell to work like that.
